Editorial correction to your Mesa Verde narrative. President Woodrow Wilson, not Teddy Roosevelt , signed legislation establishing the National Park Service in 1916.

“In 1905, a bill for the creation of Mesa Verde National Park was introduced in the 59th Congress. This bill was subsequently passed, and the park was created on June 29, 1906. The bill was signed by President Theodore Roosevelt.
Earlier that same year, on June 8, 1906, a bill called "an Act for the Preservation of American Antiquities," or more commonly, the "1906 Antiquities Act," was passed. This act made it a federal crime to collect or destroy any historic or prehistoric object or building on federally owned land.”

Very refreshing to hear a proper narration rather than the all too common 'Artificial Stupidity' that many channels seem to rely on more and more. And a structured written production, not a stream of images with a random voiceover. Thank you.

I corresponded with a Navaho gentlemen living in New Mexico for nearly 20 years during the 1990's and 2000's. Unfortunately, he succumbed to cancer at the age of 78.

@@chroniclesoftime7194 Indeed. He went on many trips into the Sierra Nevadas and sent me pictures of ghost towns, old mines, washed out mountain roads and abandoned miners' cabins.
