Do you think safety arms from other racks would be compatible with this? The first think I also noticed is that safeties seem a little short. I could probably work around it but longer safeties definitely give me more peace of mind. I already have a half rack with safeties that are my desired length so was wondering if I could use mine on this new equipment.
I can't say if the safeties from other racks would be compatible. Even if the dimensions of the uprights are the same it could still be hit or miss, might work, might not. The short safeties on these racks is probably my biggest issue with them. Need more length to be able to safely do everything you'll want to do.

The Smith on the RitFit was a little smoother. But the major Fitness one is more solid overall. The pulley systems are roughly equivalent on each imo
