Hi, I bought a t5 and all the time it was ticking over and on a test drive it was fine, I drove 30 miles then it went into the red, it went down after a short stop but continued to do this, when I tried to return the van I was told sorry it was sold as seen and you tested it out, they said it must have just occurred but on checking out all of the paperwork it had lots of bits replaced for the cooling system, but hay we live and learn
Good sound advice we all need reminding now and then of the subjects covered in this video when buying any type of vehicle. Cheers.
Reminding, that’s absolutely right. A lot of people will already know this, but if it saves a newbie from a potential disaster, then I have achieved 👍
AA vehicle check turned out to be some the best money I’ve ever spent, completely outed a car full of issues. Can’t recommend enough. 👍
Great result. Saved yourself a fortune. Definitely money saved, rather than money spent 👍

Will I be alright buying from a vw dealership please mate or still cautious?
Buying from a VW main dealer you should be ok regarding the base van itself. They will carry out various checks 👍🏼
