Hi there. Thank you for making this down to earth video documentary about life in Dubai, UAE. 🇦🇪 Dubai is definitely a city I want to live & work. It really looks & feels beautiful & very safe.
Useful video Slava. Thanks for that. Spending time with someone who has been living there for couple of decades and getting realistic answers for common questions is very useful indeed. Yet another great presentation.
*Great video. Would love to see more. I just got back from Dubai. Was there for three weeks. Got to experience it feet on the ground. Loved the place.*
Dubai is on my bucket list. My friend who are flight attendant visited there many times, one of my colleagues worked there but they did not want to live there for so long.
It will be super warm! Good luck! I'm going next week. And have lived there before. I didn't mind the heat and the warm sea. But many people don't like it. Have fun!!!
I was really inspired from your perspective on Dubai. You are real,I felt like I was visiting at the Same time,Thumbs up 😊Great work of a civil engineer ❤My son is an Engineer too and I could relate.
god bless you man for letting us know more about dubai , i would like you to come to african too, i will happily be your tour guide and show you many traditions in africa, and why africa is different from europe🎉.
Slava, all your videos are GREAT!!! Very professional, interesting and with warm energy... I found your channel not long ago and very grateful for your work! Best regards from Moscow! Welcome if you'll need here something!
Thanks for the nice video on Dubai, look like I place I would never care to visit or live. Yekaterinburg on my list to visit, but then I live in the Texas Hill Country where there not much of a rush hour or a lot of people.
Thank you very much Slava for this very interesting video. I think that Dubai is a place where many people made their fortunes Personally I would visit it even if I couldn't live there, firstly for the weather which is too hot for me and then there is too much concrete! Anyway your videos are so beautiful and informative. I wish you and family a fantastic 2024, full of everything you wish❤⭐️❤️
Come to see Green Communities - I live in the West one... with a 4+ million people spread through countless communities, life is as it really is. Live here for 10 years, and yes - it does get hot, but at least the AC systems can keep the temperature. Lived in California for almost 10 years, and the back of Silicon Valley got as hot as Dubai or more, but the AC systems could not hold the temp under 90F...
Traditional educated and productive families from first world countries are moving to UAE, Saudi, Qatar and they have very good reviews. I was thinking to choose a western country but UAE always win, only issue is they don't give passport. In western countries we get passport in 5-6 years.
So Point: 1- Be Rich or (At least $1 to 2 millions) of cash in your bank account to start with 2- Buy your own property (rent free) 3- Work or start your own company or invest, so you can live a good lifestyle since you own your own (rent free) 4-Enjoy your life (sun, water, and life style, marry and make kids) Point: You need money to start your life at acceptable level of living.
❤️❤️amazing Chanel :)) Well yea I would like to find something there but my major is hard to find anything anywhere 🙈 My friends in Emirates and they liked as well there!
Dubai is not an easy place to live if you are an expat. Rents are very high, the whole standard of living is high and if you are not paid as a CEO or engineer/doctor there should be compromises. From a tourist point of view Dubai is great, for permanent living not so much.
Might not be easy for you but plenty of expat friends live there. They aren’t CEO’s or doctors. They are teachers and live a very good lifestyle there and have been for the past 15 years. They never return to visit the uk anymore
Very tough to find a job in Dubai nowadays so I wouldn’t bother trying especially if you have a weak passport .. there is no such thing as minimum wage in Dubai there are very limited opportunities and for specific ethnicities, so don’t bother trying and if you do, don’t get your hopes up.
I think just like New York, and London; Dubai is also a very luxurious destination where u can live comfortably and enjoy every bit of it only if u have a well-paying job or a business.
During nighttimes in UAE avenues, streets are lit like daytime comfort with best lightning that you can observe in Guangzhou, Shenzen, Los Angeles nighttime lightning.
Dubai is no doubt a very beautiful city. Except you are earning a very high income, it is not a place to live as an immigrant. But if you are making very good income, you will live like you are in paradise.
It's kinder to the entry level workers to be more implanted around and inside the city instead of the outside, they can do the same things without extra costs if travel
When i went to dubai in 2012 for visit burj khalifa top observatory was done in 1 day, this guy is to busy he didnt even go there in 20 years, or does not want to go. One of my old work mate working in Dubai told me as a tourist the bling bling looks good, however when you live here you start to see the that its all fake. To even survive socially you have to have the best, so you have to work extra hard, ending up with no work life balance. I guess the people having the best life is locals, ofcourse if you are a princess then its a total other story.
Dubai is the best place to live in. safe, clean, sunny, friendly people, food is good, can afford bigger cars what else you need schools and rents can be expensive but there are cheaper options depends on lifestyle
Watching a lot of your content comparing to my country here in United States it seems like everyone else is doing better in certain countries while we're degrading .... I remember the times of 70s and 80s and 90s in California
If you want to spend time in the desert with 110 degree heat, just spend a week in phoenix in august. You do not have to go to a dangerous area like the middle east.
Dubai gasoline price of 3 usd per gallon equals to Georgia, Alabama, Missisipi rural damping gasoline prices in the USA. Tepe Construction's Regional Manager had been alumni of Perth University Australia, Mining Engineer with Masters in Mining Engineer from same university and aussie citizen , but Turkish descendant. Aussies are everywhere in Dubai, they had been living with Japanese, Korean engineers housing complex.
Another job well done, Slava! Hey, if you ever want to come to Southern California and get the full tour, I'm your man! I run a Water Treatment Plant on a local military base and I could even get you a tour of that as well!
I'm too old to visit Dubai so I really like this video from a local perspective. Thanks Slava.
Perspective from a local is such a cool idea. Loved it!
Thanks so much!
First time I get this perspective. Very settling
One of the best Videos about Dubai, without the bling bling👍👍
Thank you. I felt the same way
The only video on UAE I've watched that showed me what life for ordinary people is like

@@CyPsyGuy no… she works in saudi air…. She loves Dubai but not on May since its too hot.

Everything looks so otherworldly and expensive! Never been there but hope to make a holiday there one day on a rainy day😊
You should!
That's a very warm and culturally inspiring view of the country. Great job.

I would love to live in Dubai, Good job, Good pay, multiculturalism, sunshine, clean, crime rate nearly 0, Tax free income
crime rate is 0, because once you do any criminal activity, say bye bye to your visa forever. So no one wants ro risk it.

Hi there..Is Dubia better or London better?
The only problem in Dubai is that the salaries are not matching the life standard at all.
