Thank you for saving this terrific video and slice of the amazing music of the '90''s! I am the actress in the video, and this was shot by the incredible Matthew Ralston, with whom I worked on many commercials and projects at the time (including the "Later Gator" Lubriderm ad with the giant alligator ;). Jorden was a total gentleman, and the whole band were pros. This video still holds a sweet spot in my heart all these years later. So glad I got to be a part of the fantastic music scene in the 1990's, on VH1 and beyond. 💜
I scrolled through the comments to see is someone knew who the girl was because back when the video came out I thought you were breathtaking and being a teenager I wanted to be like you, even got similar clothes to yours in the video!🤣 Nice to meet you!🙂
@@GabrielaZapataMusic Goddess! Thank you, aww you made my day 🙏🏽 I loved that coat! but....i still have those amazing Doc Martens ;) Keep being the gorgeous you!
Hey! You’re the amazing person behind all the awesome 90s commercials!!! I’m trying to get into some commercials and was wondering if you know of any agents that I can audition for? I’m based in Southern Illinois & am currently a sophomore at SIUC studying Musical Theater trying to build my actors resume & portfolio 💼
My favorite NKOTB album. Face the Music. Damn Jordan was fine as hell in this video. The cesear cut and facial hair was working for him. ❤ They were grown men on this album
If this album would have came around 1998 and now it would have been a hit. People didn't want them to change that was why people stopped listening to them. I have loved them from the beginning until now. Block head for life.
MsBabygirl77 yea I think she knows that, she said IF it was released later on the decade it would of been more of a hit meaning meaning taking a break after the remix album and coming back with face the music in 1998 or 1999
@@aji722 They never did a lip sing though, never, and it wasn't their management, it was a man that worked on their music who falsely accused them and then also said that their work wasn't their own. He wasn't on their management team, he was someone who worked with the music aspect of it but New Kids have always credited everybody.
I just wasn't that interested in them anymore. As much as I liked them they were pretty much over by the time 1994 came around. Because Jonathan had left the group earlier due to his anxiety and stage fright.
Face The Music is the best New Kids On The Block album, even better than their new music. Sorry for the people who never gave it the value the album deserves.
@@jedsteelwell2354 in fact it was, but I’m talking about quality, better voices, better arrangements. with the release of this album, the problems between them were released started too. Jonathan had healthy problems about his panic attacks and he felt that this album was so “new and different” of the kind of music they used to do. He left the band and they put the group in pause until 2008 when they came back with the release of the album “The Block”
I remember back in 1998 at The 50 Yard Line in Chicago this song came on and I thought, "What? These punk ass Kids?" Man, was I ever wrong! The club dancers hit the floor and graced this song with their beautiful steps and I was in awe. This is a stone jam Steppers cut for sure! If we doing it up in a Chicago Stepper's Club, then it's the real thing!!
Since I was 8 years old I was a Joe fan. This song-video and meeting Donnie in person in 1996, when I was 18, solidified my new-found Donnie crush. I even named my only child after Donnie in 2003. My son is now 15 and when people ask about his name, he loves to tell people how he is named after Donnie Wahlberg. I took my son to his first NKOTB concert when he was 5. Sometimes, memories are legacies.
I started to read this comment and realized it was mine from 4 years ago. LOL Donnie is still the man, even though I'm a lesbian and I have a Wife, Donnie could still get it.
Dedicate, Dedicate! I remember when I was little, I thought this was Al B. Sure and LL Cool J until I got older and I thought it said Daddy Cake, Daddy Cake the whole time. LMAO!!
Lmfao at Daddy Cake. Yeah it does have ab Al B. Sure type vibe with how he's singing. He doesn't really sound like LL though. Donnie W doesn't sound bad at all but LL's flow is a lot smoother because he kind of the king of it over a smooth beat.
This song is so good... too bad by the time this song came out the backlash was too strong for that album to succeed... I like to see them do something like this again...
+Dasha Jean yep. the younger fans that they had gained just didnt want to grow up with them. So alot of them cut them loose by this time unfortunately, as they moved on to other music. Now look, all of them are coming back! lol. Glad NKOTB arent holding any grudges.
The kids that love them when they first came out were in their teens and pre-teens grew up to be Generation X and New Kids on the Block were replaced by grunge music. They just weren't cool anymore .
Jordan Knight sings pretty well. I still listen to the NKOTB. Even when I was younger woman I was listening to. I used to listen to the NKOTB in the 1990s.
I can't wait to go see the new kids on the block in concert I've been a fan of theirs for a long time &now I'm friends with all of them love you guys 💖💖💖💖💓💓🎤🎤🎶🎶🎶🎶
Man all i have to say is that i missed SO much!! I grew up with these guys and this video escaped me. Jordan has ALWAYS been my favorite and now they have teamed up with BSB Jordan is happily back in my life. And this video is extreme never expected this from Jordan but i am insanely jealous of her lol and he LICKED her stomach! Wow that was a screen grab i HAD to get.
I was one of those screaming teenage girls back then, lol. I loved NKOTB! I had everything from the dolls to the radio...walls and ceiling plastered with pics. I never saw this video though. He sounds and looks like a white Al B Sure. Love it!
Classic still amazing in 2024 🔥 NKOTB forever legendary Jordan's voice is amazing

90s music was so smooth.I want a time machine.
ugh, me too- I'd go right back to 1991, then leave in 1999
You are so right... Maxwell, babyface, etc. Grettings from Perú

This whole album was great!!! Still is....Great rnb sound!
One of my faves . Jordan is and always will be my favorite he makes me smile

Tanesha Richardson exactly the entire album was a work of art. They should have won awards for it.
Tanesha Richardson this came out the year 1994 when they broke up
MsBabygirl77 yea I think she knows that, she said IF it was released later on the decade it would of been more of a hit meaning meaning taking a break after the remix album and coming back with face the music in 1998 or 1999

@@MsBabygirl77 yeah I know. But if it would have came out in 1998 that record would have been a big hit.

The 2nd best song on the album.. ❤ dirty dawg my all time fave.. And this is just beautiful ❤ 2023
My favourite NKOTB song.
This another one of their underrated songs!!
YESS!! THE Maestro Teddy Riley
Yes! It needs more love. Hopefully nkotb can resurrect so e FTM songs in their tours.
not
This song is dope
If you were alive during the FTM era and you let that album flop, you are the big disgrace!!!
This album was and still is G O L D E N ✨
These album flopped because they were lipsync case with their management
It did and it didn’t, it actually made it to the top 40 atleast

I love Nkotb, especially Jordan Knight with that angel voice that enchants me❤️
Can't believe it's taken this video 10 years to reach almost 1 million views. This is a true classic.
This was giving me Al B Sure vibes❤
I came here just to say this
I was thinking exactly the same opinion as yours.
Watched it with a HUGE smile on my face. Forever my favorite group! In my 40s now and I still love them as if I’m a preteen💖
The Smoothest NKOTB song ever

Nah. Hangin’ tough all the way
face the music! agreed from korea.
I mean I don't really like this kinda music but didn't this record flop compared to hangin tough and step by step?

Jackson 5 😂
Agreed!
I love how he wore her out and then tuck her in. #Boss
naysayers and the public along with a record company just would not let them grow up...very sad....this track totally feels so great and I love it
I agree
People not used to seeing them displaying their manly thoughts in a video aka shown in an intimate interaction with a woman.
