Thank you for liking Asha! Soil is the best decomposer. Aeration is important but most of the time, we don't have enough time and place to keep bin that way. So the closed bin method worked better and results are always great in my experience of doing it for more than one year consistently.

I haven't tried growing plants directly in homemade compost but I used to grow tomatoes, tulsi, and money plants in compost made of domestic animals (cow and buffalo) dungs. In that compost, plants grew really well. I will try to do the same with home made compost as well. or fir vo experience b share karugi

@@Mammabachandhome this is how I do composting. One layer kitchen waste and next layer soil. So I don't throw away old soil. I use it for composting and it gets recycled and I get rejuvenated soil.

Sorry for that, but it's a very simple process of layering soil and kitchen waste along with dry leaves. i was repeating this process only in video that's why audio was stopped in between.

I saw lemon in kitchen waste too but some say that citrus peels should not be added it delays the process. What do you suggest. Pls share.
Should not be added in excess but few go with other waste won't be a problem.
