You meant to say "also known as painted dogs" right? They are dogs not wolves. I never heard them described as painted wolves. Anybody else ever hear of that?
They kind of are like Africa's version of wolves, since they are wild and in packs like North American wolves. After all Wolves are part of the canine family. Dogs evolved from wolves. Now hyenas are not canines. Pretty much any canine wild is a form of a wolf. Coyotes and Jackals are cousins to wolves.
Please don't blur out part of the video, all part of nature. Imagine at the butcher shop the many meat cuts had to be blurred. Great video on 1 of the great animals in the our world.
This was a fun shoot to be on when I was doing that acting thing out in Hollywood . I'm the guy with a girl in the aisle at the 2 minute and 8 second mark. Adam is a real stand-up guy and he treated the background really good. He picked me and the girl out of around 300 others because we had a look.. we shot this scene at night in home Depot long after the day shoots were done... ... 🙏🙏🙏
Painted wolves is a wrong name for these dogs. They have no resembalance to wolves. A proper name would be "patch dogs", as their fur is patched colors.
They would love to show the dogs eating the carcass, but RUclips doesn’t allow some saying they’re to gruesome! I know it’s very annoying, but it’s not even a big deal…
I used to hate AWDs until one video an AWD got caught n killed by a lion and the guy was upset n distraught and said they were his fav animal. So I thought maybe I was missing something and I literally watched EVERY video on youtube about AWDs and documentaries [200+ hours easily]. Turns out I was way off about them and now I adore them. Their den life and care for pups is absolutely impressive. Their pack life and care for old and injured as well. I'm borderline expert now LOL, for real. Upon my observations, many ideas about them were wrong in the past and now scientists are learning otherwise and the actual reality of them, example, only alpha female feeds them. Not true, sure sometimes, many times, but not always. Depends on the females and the pack. Many misconceptions about them. I have a few shared playlists of them if anyone wants to see more videos.
Unfortunately, I have to put this on playlist I have labeled as "ruined by music". For the 1st time, it's not a volume level issue. Its because of music styles that don't fit. Some of us crazy Americans cannot tolerate ANY amount of "country" sounding music and I'm one.
