  • One of the unique features of the Fife Coast is the Elie Chain Walk.
Chains are built into a section of the cliff west of Elie village, hugging the cliffs towards Kincraig Point and Shell Bay.
This is a challenging part of the Fife Coastline, and has been enjoyed for many years. If you are considering attempting it, please plan carefully, and be aware of the advice given on signs at both ends of the Chain Walk.

Well done that lad! I was checking this out, as I have an athletic, sure footed, goat like dog - but there look like sections that even she couldn't manage.

No mean feat for anyone, I done it with the walking gang back in 2013, glad I didn’t know what was in front of me... ignorance was bliss! Well done
