Kinco HMI Tutorial: Ethernet Software

I'm trying to set up some buttons on a kinco mt4414te hmi to control a siemens plc 313c's outs but Is there any way to do it directly or do i need to deal with the register so I can control a valve only trigerin the plc out?..i'd apreciate if you answer
