After making the video I realized two things I missed that would have increased the numbers a bit. 1) Frenzy was not proc'd during the DPS over time graph data so even though it was simulated for damage, the 100 handling that frenzy gives would've saved a lot of time on rocket swaps and increased DPS quite a bit. 2) I forgot to apply Frenzy 15% damage buff to wolf pack rounds. With Frenzy applied WPR deals 48,580 damage giving each rocket 185,289 damage which is about 6K more damage per rocket. Since a rocket fires roughly every 224 Frames this would increase DPS by approximately 1,666 per rocket. Although the frenzy damage was missing on WPR 1,666 DPS wouldn't be noticeable on the graph. However, the handling would be pretty impactful, and you can see the handling applied in the Ogre test to compare how fast the swaps are.
would it be smart to run a double special with auto loading and shoot the boss with like a slug or a spike grenade launcher in between the cond' finality shots cause how slow the shots are? i dont have the weapon so i cant test this out myself
after testing a little bit, it you can use one stasis holster to autoload the shotgun to fire only ignition shots. comboing this with filo is probably better. The combo would be Rocket, CF, CF, Filo to start so that CF is empty and ready to be loaded by holster. Then Rocket, CF, Filo Filo would be the main loop. Since one filo shot is too fast for ALH to proc on bump. Should theoretically get an ignition every shot and filo will be more than the freeze + shatter shot of CF. I just need to test if the swap speed is going to cause it to be worse or not.
i am glad that prelapse is inspiring more people to make better dps tests that are more informative and straight to the point so now it makes you 2 my go to for dps great test!

I just tested this shotgun as well and it's amazing against bubbles if you can get in. The freeze stops the titan and the solar explosion will kill the other guardians. It can also be followed up with a shatter dive to give an instant kill combo.

I have two auto loading mods on It goes: Rocket Reservoir burst Shotgun blast shotgun blast Reservoir burst Rocket Reservoir burst Shotgun blast Shotgun blast Reservoir burst Rocket And repeat, I never have to reload once and I never realized how good this shotgun is lol

It does beat starfire at DPS but it’s not as much damage over time which is what starfire excells at. Starfire dps isn’t as high as a lot of other strats in the game mostly involving rockets. But yea i can’t wait for it to be nerfed
Really good damage combo, however in practice you’d have to drop the well on the boss to properly use the shotgun which could cause problems by then shooting a rocket launcher from point blank.
Not exactly, lunafactions can bring the effective range out a fair bit. Still a tight range to land effective shotgun range with dont-kill-yourself rocket range, but as the ogre shows, it can be done.
Yep, Luna brings the effective range to about 18-20 Meters similar to slug shotguns. As long as you don't play with people who can't stand still it works great, I use it daily.
Dps it’s impressive, but to be honest i doubt its going to be useful because the ignition damage its already going to be caused by starfire protocol and you need to get dangerously close so you are exposed to self rocket damage. Overall damage its really impressive and your video its very well edited
@@Xiaika ehroar gets all the views just to run around in a patrol lost sector for three minutes and calling it a slug shotgun over and over. and then tests damage on a major lol

But chill clip effects bosses differently individually But you could be ballzy and use lasting impression with the shotgun as lasting buffs wolf pack the most excluding tricorn
And that's not using thread of accent to quick reload it instead of manual reloads. With thread of generation that damage your doing would get you the grenade to do so
I like the potential for rotations this weapon has. Add a ALH GL and some nades then this goes crazier. Maybe run on hunter for triple rocket combos even. Just wish there were a few more shotgun friendly bosses tho.
Wait till you see my next video. Stasis holster has a great interaction with CF since it reloads the ignition shot over and over you can always shoot ignitions in the rotations ;0
How would Palmyra fare here? I didn't grind bump and I'm aware it would be a damage loss, but tracking would offer consistency at least. It's cope but if it's good it's good, even if it's not 100% optimal. I do have an adept hothead with autoloading explosive. Suppose that may be a better option? Just not sure how it fares against missing chill clip.

No, i should try that. That’s a good idea. Based on my testing though the ignition happens 52 frames after the second shot and the shatter happens 12 frames after the second shot. So i don’t think it would work on the right timing. I did mess around with whisper of fissues and it does work with the shatter but it only procs on final blow or stasis crystal shatter. It didn’t affect the regualr shatter. But if you are running a stasis build the fragment does improve the AoE shatter damage. I’ll let you know after i test rending (: thanks for the suggestion!
@@Xiaika thanks :D i was just curious for duskfield spam, since in GMs a duskfield basically cancels anti-barrier shielding, and the slow does overload, and the shatter does unstop. spamming some fat whisper of rending shots could be disgusting with it

Lasting is more damage but less DPS since there is a Delay on the rockets.

I Tried Rending and it has no effect on the damage. The fragment requires primary ammo weapons to benefit from it.
