I have the same concerns. Besides the fact that the movie feels more like stop being a Flash movie long ago and is now a Bat-verse movie, I'm not a fan that htey are adapting Flashpoint. Not only that story only works if Flash universe (his city, supporting characters, villains) are already established (which, in the DCEU, they are not) but I think the story is way to overrated. When people think of Barry Allen, this story (plus the drama with his mother) is the first and only people thinking about it, which limit the potential of different adventures he could have in a movie. In my opinion, the stories I would love being adapt in a Flash trilogy would be this: 1st movie - Adaptation of Flash Year One (with some elements from Flash of Two Worlds) showing Barry's origin, his first days as the Flash and his first meeting with Jay Garrick, who could act as mentor figure for Barry, as the two work together to save Central City from Gorilla Grodd. 2nd movie - Adaptation of Flash Born to run, showing Barry meeting Wally West and training him to become his sidekick, Kid Flash. The villains could be the Rogues (Captain Cold, Golden Glider, Mirror Master, Captain Boomerang and Heatwave) 3rd movie - Adaptation of the Flash wedding, showing the big showdown between Barry and Reverse Flash, who, in the first fight, could send Barry to the future and try to replace him as Central City's hero. The movie would showcase Barry trying to return to the past while being chased by the Renegades (future version of the rogues who work for the law as suppose to against it), who mistake Barry for Reverse Flash.
Well considering that WB and Zack Snyder have treated Ezra Miller very badly after Snyder recruited him, I would not be surprised if this is more of a Batman movie than a Flash movie.
@@thesmortmeatballreviews6552 HIS spot in the sunlight. He has said he is perfectly comfortable with he/him. Considering the way that Warner bros. (and Zack Snyder) has treated him so far, I doubt if he will get a chance to show his acting talent. Snyder called Ezra and recruited him for the Flash part, then put him in SvB , and gave him what amounted to almost a bit part, and gave him stupid lines that made him AND the Flash look like idiots, making many people think that Ezra could not act. Same in JL and I don't think you can blame just Joss Wheadon for that. Anyone who saw his work BEFORE he fell into Snyder's clutches knows he was a GREAT actor, and only on his way UP. Then Warner bros promised him this movie, his own Flash movie, and then put it on the shelf for almost 8 years!! Meantime, so much time has gone by, Ezra has lost his original fan base that he had before, and almost no one knows his name except the people who know him from JL and SvB who think he's just a really bad actor. Then he had to make a lot of interviews acting all happy about the tiny Flash parts he had. There was a quote on the net where Ezra said, "when you see me interviewed, I am not always as happy as I act." He didn't mention the WB situation. There was a video up with Ezra talking about how he handles bouts of depression, but it was taken down. Then there was the 2020 Grammy awards where he showed up at the after party drunk, with old, caked makeup, turned his back to the camera and gave the middle finger sign. He was clearly showing his unhappiness over his career situation. Of course, we have to mention the Credence role, where they didn't tell him until after he signed the contract that they would cut his beautiful hair off into that ridiculous and ugly haircut. Another few thousand fans he could have had if he had been allowed to look his best. Warner Bros and Snyder basically just gaslighted him all the way though his twenties which should have been the best years of his career. Unlike so many others, I don't have a high opinion of Zack Snyder.

I agree

I completely agree. I love Batman, but let Ezra have their spot in the sunlight!
