their stadium capacity is around 66-70k and even during covid when their stadium capacity was reduced to like 50% the stadium was filled with 30-35k people

There is no growth. These fans were football fans, before they supported different foreign teams. Now we have clubs in our state to support. Judging india by looking into Kerala & judging Kerala by looking at India is not correct. Vast majority of Indian's don't even know there is a football league is played in this country.

Before that everyone just sat on the steps so lot more people could sit but it could get crowded. Then they put seats on top of em bringing the capacity down to 35k-40k

Football isn't popular in Kerala because of ISL or the Kerala Blasters. There have always been die-hard fans of the game way before the ISL. Football fans in Kerala had been divided into supporters of Pele, Maradona, Ronaldo, Messi, Neymer or of Brazil, Argentina, Portugal etc. ISL united all these fans and the Kerala Blasters became a team all of them could celebrate.
Kerala blaster have the best fanbase in Asia and I'm a mohan Bagan fan saying this proudly 💛💚❤️ .Thodgen one request come to an isl derby in Kolkata it is asias greatest and oldest derby.It'll be another great experience for you about Indian football and for us fans .And at the end of the day we just want Indian football to grow 💙🔝
