Thando and Nomasburg??? Boy are we gonna have some great content ahead!!!!! EDIT : Pls do continue to have commentary. I think everyone will like your calm and composed voice And learned new things today. Keep up the great work❤️
I've literally seen Cities Skylines youtubers stuttering , confused and messing up bad while making commentary for the first few times. To the point where viewers would comment to stop Commentary and go on naturally. But your videos feel like you have been doing commentary for years now and are a veteran in this field. Inshort : *YOURE DOING SO GOOD KEEP GOING*
I think it helps that it seems that records his video first and then does commentary over it, probably somewhat scripted it, Helps with the smooth flow to what he is saying
I really liked how you explain the purpouse of every building, I think we usually just put buildings in combos that look cool, but placing them with a background; thats amazing man.
What?! Left hand traffic?! Nooooooooooooooooo... Thank you for sharing your knowledge on thermal plants, that was really interesting. Sanctum Gamer is now culture as well. :) Super excited for Nomasburg!
I live in the UK so it's normal for me and Sanctum seems to be the only person to do left hand traffic. I like all the British stores he puts into some of his shopping centres.
Wow - what a start to building the Nomasburg region! Super excited to see lots of little more rural areas. I hope this power plant is a preview of what to expect from the rest of the series. It looks like a nice, green (in more ways than one) and lush area. And what better way to power it than by renewable energy! Also, thanks for keeping the traffic on the left, mate. ;) Looking forward to seeing more!
You're South African? Me too! You started talking and I thought that accent sounds familiar. I've never seen a South African skylines player before. I'm excited to follow this series!
I didn't know what to think about you commenting on your city build, but I found it very entertaining and informative. It seems like you have a lot of knowledge when it comes to city building and infrastructure. Your voice was good as well and you easily made the list to my "watch while trying to fall asleep" list - which isn't a bad thing. Thank you for the good content.
The addition of a just the right amount of commentary is great. I loved all your previous videos even without commentary but being able to hear a little bit from you about the build is very nice as well.
I am now a firm believer in geo thermal energy. Awesome video, and it was a nice change to know someone actually took the time to understand what they were building. Adds a whole new context to even your previous cities.
I don't know what it is about other CS builders, but more often than not I find myself getting bored silly watching detailing, and yet SG's detailing is never dull even without commentary. (But please do keep doing the voice-overs!) And yeah, I learned something today. (Also: totally digging the music you're curating.)
A great start to the series certainly looking forward to more. Commentary was really good and describing the processes of the different elements of the power plant educational.
Your voice is soothing, warm and calm... I could listen to you all day long. Oh, and your building skills are impressive man. You have such an amazing sense for realism and details. Respekt!👍
I like how you do the commentary, very direct and also gives time to let the viewers just focus on the builds. Than rattling and rattling non-stop in the whole vid like other channels do. No hate meant btw.. ✌️
I could very much listen to you doing commentary for the rest of the day. Please keep it up - I think the format you’ve got going is excellent and I would be happy to see it continue. Also- crazy respect for the way you build without moving the camera a lot. I tried to build a small area like this and I realized just how often I usually move my camera when I build, so I have a lot of respect for the way you can stay in one spot for so long.
This was perfect it felt informative and meaningful, also we would love to see you landscaping and decorating, I can assure you your builds are the best out of the top three builders I know, the amount of commentary was well balanced with the build and the music in intervals.
I always love your videos for the camera views, the music and the level of detail. Keep it up. Commentary is good, but some cities skylines channels with commentary run out of stuff to talk about, then they just talk nonsense. So I really like that you break it up. Enough commentary to give us insight to your build process, but also giving us a chance to enjoy your building. Love it, keep it going!
6 months ago I had never even heard of this game. I started watching Overcharged Egg and you, you both have improved my joy and building skills in this game by leaps and bounds. I even went through your older content because it is just that good! EDIT: Fixed typo
That was really interesting with the commentary on the workings of the Geotherman power plant. New Zealand uses a lot of these and many homes have their own scaled down ones. The problem with it, is it's begun to effect the the water table, and the longevity of being able to use Geothermal.
I enjoyed listening to you talking about the geothermal power station and the level of detail that you've been able to put into it. You should never be nervous with any of your videos as your loyal fans will always be there supporting you. Great having you back and I look forward to what you've got in-store for us.
A very good job as always! it's a good thing to hear you explain what you do and what you have in mind when you build something. Don't be afraid to take your time and show us your work, when it's to fast, it's not so easy to see the assets you're using and how you place them. Thank you very much, I always learn something when I see you build !
ur videos are so dope. love the way you edit everything together. looks real smooth. most of these videos look really chaotic. yours dont. keep up the good work bro
Awesome episode. I'm an engineer is a co-generation power plant, so this was cool to watch. Great explanation of a geothermal plant. I toured the Hellisheidi geo plant in Iceland, incredible!
hi! perhaps im 9 months late but i saw ep 14 of this and i was like "woahhhh this is beautiful" As everyones probably said since last year, your commentary is great! These types of build videos give ME ideas for my game and are also a relaxing way to pass the time. I look forward to binge watching the rest of this series!
A fellow South African here. Great work as always, the level of detail you achieve is unreal, I struggle to achieve 1% of in my own builds. Commentary is awesome as well! keep it up Sanctum Gamer
Yup, the commentary is really giving more depth to your video. I love it and as someone else commented re the left hand side driving - I love it as I relate to it. You are not a content maker sir - you are an artist.
No complain on the commentary, it's a fresh turn, but I hope you remain consistent on Thando series for no commentary there. Somehow your city building video kinda an ASMR video for me, and I hope I am not alone. But as always, this new city looks interesting...
SG been a while. I must say I am glad to see the new stuff to your series. I am late yes, but the music is on point, lol. Also, glad to know your narrating and letting us know your thinking for doing what you do in your builds. Shocking, but do I hear a bit of a an accent, trying too figure out what country its from by myself, lol. Keep up the great work.
I really like your video because your camera is steady not like others whose cameras make my eyes dizzy and don't enjoy the building process which I think is beautiful and pleasing to the eye, keep doing this :). And its beautiful i love it ❤️ , I think this will be as popular as LITTLE TOWN. I love you a lot from Indonesia 🇮🇩❤️❤️❤️❤️
Why are you so good at this game? I've been following you since episode 4 or 5 of Littletown, and the ease in which you detail your builds only continues to get better and better. Of all the C:S builders, I take most inspiration from you when building my own cities, and I'm glad you're channel is finally starting to take off. You deserve the recognition, and I'm not just blowing smoke up your rear. Lulz! No, but the commentary is great. The videos feel so much more personal now compared to your previous format. Kudos and keep this content train rolling, good sir!
Also I feel that the alternation between the two series should be purely based on your mood as the builds will be even better since it will be based on your inspiration as to what you feel like building rather then forcing it as it will probably allow you to increase your creativity since it will be something you are looking forward to build. Though this is just my opinion but you should follow the series based on your inspiration to build.
Wow, your such a talented builder. Wish I was that good. Your commentary was very helpfull and pleasent to listen to. Just one little irritation of mine, that can also be a helpfull tip. Dedicated turninglanes! This will help traffic flow better when Nomasburg grows and there will be more traffic. For the rest, you made this build to perfection and I would love to see more content!
I def. wanna see a lot of nature polishing content. I'm very passionate about nature and integration of nature with high tech infrastructure. Please include such videos on ur channel.
Oh man I almost want to cry seeing you build that fast and making so much progress vs me playing the game as complicated as it gets where I need multiple days for one intersection and it's surroundings (btw I am currently recreating Frankfurt as good as possible with invisible roads on which I then build the streets themselfes with Asphalt in PO)
@@SanctumGamer thanks! This will take me a couple years😂 I don't know how much you are into recreating existing cities but if you even want to try have a look at the "overlay" mod. With this you can essentially change the ground texture to a square out of Google maps that you can completely choose yourself, this texture can be turned of whenever you like. At the Moment this is the best option in terms of getting close to 1:1 recreations
Absolutely amazing!! Plus you are now giving commentary. Fantastic!! I have watched all your builds and am jealous of your skills, you are a Magician!! Are you German or South African? I can't tell. but I think you are German. How often do you upload this series? I applaud your professionalism. Keep up the good work. In time your commentary will become more confident. Five star.
Love watching your videos, no problem with the commentary, but followed most of your series and found the music always sooo relaxing and to just watch you build section by section, is possible to have a no commentary version of each episode as well? 🙃
Wow your videos amaze me more and more each time! Ps: did you know that you can easily remove trees with moveit? Pps: I really liked that you explained how this geothermic powerplant workes!
"I'm in no way an expert on geothermal power plants..."
Goes on to explain in detail how they work.
Lol... He is good tho!
This is why i like commentary
this guy is crazy :-D
You must have missed the part where he says, he did some reading.
Thando and Nomasburg??? Boy are we gonna have some great content ahead!!!!!

@@ScorpiusZA. Yes yes, some try to do live Commentary, i.e. while they're doing the build and hence get stangled between the two
Couldn't agree more, the commentary is fantastic, regardless of how new he is to it.
Super excited for Nomasburg!
Nothing wrong with left-hand traffic, that is totally normal where I am from.
@@ScorpiusZA. Not were I'm from

I like, how most of the Stuff that looks good actually works.
i like the combination between the commentary and the music. Music fits super good to the footage

I absolutely love the natural touches near the bridge. I would really like to see an episode about nature details. Keep up the incredible work 👍
I love what you did with the rocks under the Bridge they look so good there

By far your best build in Nomasburg yet!
Great build you are quickly becoming my favorite to watch for detailed builds.
Best C:S youtuber out there. Uncontested. Love the build and the commentary! Keep up the good work!
ur videos are so dope. love the way you edit everything together. looks real smooth. most of these videos look really chaotic. yours dont. keep up the good work bro
I always love those soundtracks you put while building, they make me so calm. Mixing those with commentary is the best.
You’re the first creator I’ve seen use guard rails! Lots of intersection marking tool, but missing a basic part of almost every road.
This is freakin awesome! Please continue with the commentary, it adds a new dimension to the video. Keep them coming!
I share the feelings. I have not got a video out with commentary. It makes u nervous as you said in the last video. Great work in this video.
Man...awesome episode! I loved the explanation and it's one of the best power plant designs I've seen in CS by far!!!
Awesome episode. I'm an engineer is a co-generation power plant, so this was cool to watch. Great explanation of a geothermal plant. I toured the Hellisheidi geo plant in Iceland, incredible!
Always happy to hear when someone in the field gives a thumbs up :)
New viewer. I would not be half as interested in this is there was no commentary. Thoroughly enjoyed the episode, subbed.

Great video, and very informative. I appreciate the effort you put in the power plant and the whole narrative behind it!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing. Both your vision of the place and the video. Keep up the good work. I'm hooked.
Not even three minutes in and you've outdone my building skills... Looks amazing dude!

I did a Geothermal power plant myself for my new cities build about a month ago. Looks like we had similar ideas.
The builds are even better with the commentary, keep up the good work!!!!❤️❤️❤️

Liked alot your research about the power plant.. and how that made your building more meaningfull .. good job man
I can't watch without commentary anymore. More!
yo shoutout on the cool explanation on the power plant and might i say you are an EXPERT at building. WOW
wow that build is very impressive! well done and very creative as well! if only i could be that patient with my builds...

Wow! This is so much more than "plunk down a coal power plant." You've definitely earned a new subscriber,
Awesome video, I learned A LOT! Loving the commentary a lot, you're a natural at it :)

I love the commentary. Your builds are incredible !
This looks brilliant my guy. Loving the look of everything thus far. Keep it up.
This geothermal power plant looks fantastic and could do a farm the same size as it.
your detail work is the best SG
yess..SG hadir kembali...😊😋☕👋👋👋👋
Your videos are a breath of fresh air my friend :) keep em coming.
Love to watch you work 😍, and loved your previous cities too, littletown and thando city
Awesome start to the city, can't wait to see more. 👍😁
Bloody brilliant. Excellent work and love the commentary.
AMAZING Build! Fantastic Explanation!
Very pleased to see your videos, you are AWSOME!

Great first vid. Excited to see what else you do
you should be a city planner, you made a power plant look like a weirdly interesting vacation spot lol
Lekker boet, great to see such great builds from a fellow countryman! Can’t wait to see more.
I have been gone for so long. Idk why. Got bored of your content but this. Is nice!
Edit: I like your voice.
Amazing! Would love to see you do something similar for a sewage treatment plant.
