Ganesha Is Real
To me Ganesha is real. He is a phenomenon, as well as a noumenon. He’s not just a character in a dead mythology.
Indian Mythology
Particularly in the Indian tradition, mythology is something that is very much alive. The Gods and Goddesses are not emeritus, they are very much alive and part of our culture and tradition. And they are being worshiped. The characters in the mythology, Gods, and Angels, they are worshipped. And they are considered real, although the understanding is rather superficial.
Why Ganesha Is Becoming Popular
Now one thing that I want to focus on is: “Why is Ganesha now coming back more so in recent times, more than say two, or three, decades before?” Three, or four decades before, Ganesha, when I was living in India, particularly in Tamil Nadu where I was born, and raised, Ganesh Chaturthi, the Birthday of Ganesha was celebrated on a very, very, small scale, but today it has picked up.
Devdutt Pattanaik: Business Management & Ganesha Mythology
I happened to see Devdutt’s [Pattanaik] book, “The Business Sutra.” ... Devdutt Pattanaik talking at a Ted Talk, about the mythology of Ganesha, and management,. And he was referring to a story of the competition between Ganesha and his younger brother, Subramanya, Muruga as he’s called in Tamil.

I’m now running the Ketu’s Bhukti, in the Venus Dasha. And whenever you are under Ketu’s influence, then you always have a connection with Ganesha. So why is he so important as a Wisdom God? So one of the things that I focused on, and there are a few videos on that, and it’s on RUclips. I said that there is this Von Economo Neuron, in the Anterior Cingulate of the brain. That particular set of neurons is responsible for our intelligence.
So they are very intelligent. They are very psychic.

a. The mythology of Ganesha says that he is very intelligent, and as in the story of Muruga or Kartikeya and Ganesha. There are so many stories of Ganesha.

I went to Agastiya Nadi [Leaf Reading] and asked Ganesha a bunch of questions. And one thing he said, “I’m not going to be as much available on the Chaturthi as like the Chaturdashi which is the 14th Moon, not the 4th Moon, but the 14th Moon is when you can access me.

Ok, and then the access of any Divinity is also through a plant. A plant can live the energy of a Deity. This is again the Siddha Wisdom, so if you want to have Ganesha, or come in contact with Ganesha, you have to use this Durva Grass.
Durva Grass Is Bermuda Grass: Ganesha Grass
Durva Grass, I just went and looked for it in the US because I wanted to do a Fire Ritual, and Durva Grass was not available on the 14th Moon. Then I found it. It’s also called the Bermuda Grass when I went to the store here in San Diego. And I couldn’t get the leaves, but I got the Bermuda Grass seeds and I used it in the Fire Ritual.

a few weeks ago I was in an Indian shop ( I live in Belgium) I saw a beautiful green Ganesha. Instantly when I laid my eye on it, immense energy came to me. It was very much alive and it was Ganesh Himself. He stayed with me for days.. It was not my mind who said it was Ganesh, He revealed Himself. Then, I saw on video the mantra " Ohm Ganapathy". I knew Ganesha before, only theoretically, but never He was so alive as now.. I have to go back to the shop and buy the Ganesha.. thanks for your explanation on him, I recently have found your videos.

Dr Pillai... it is so hard to find info about Ganesha in english...and I mean SOLID Info like what you have done in so many videos about Ganesha. I got frustrated cos so many videos about Ganesha in youtube are in indian languages..and majority of them do not have any English subtitles even after I tried to enable it. There are so many English speaking people worldwide who are searching for spiritual truths.... and imagine how frustrated they are when they looked for Ganesha info in youtube only to find that more than 90% of these videos are in languages they cant understand. Only a few of them bothered to include English subtitles.
Your contribution to mankind with your amazing Ganesha videos in ENGLISH cannot be denied. Your good karma points escalated for sure with every video of Ganesha you did.
It is cos of your videos and efforts that I have the loving Ganesha as my Deity now. Yes, Ganesha is REAL!

Great video. I have an interest in Ganesha now, and I wasn't too sure why. I've always been very attracted to Shiva, especially Nataraj. And Kali Ma. And recently I've found out that two of my friends are very interested in Ganesha, and they are two people whom I would not have expected to have an interest in Him.
