Personally, unless they have totally redesigned the mechanism since it came out as the 'Prussia', you've been very lucky that it works. I have a 'Prussia (being fond of Norris engines - we had some here in England) whose motor was a push fit in the firebox, with appallingly poor gear matching and pick-up. If it ran for more than a few inches you'd be lucky. Eventually I rebuilt it with a tender drive unit, and that at least does run.
I got one from the Hume lake country fair it was in a wet box cause of a thunderstorm with heavy rain. And some of the controls and plug were wet but IT STILL RAN very well even though a coach was missing it’s roof
