LoreWarrior Armour - The Anhur Transport

The clan equivalent of the Inner Sphere Karnov transport. The Anhur is obviously a more advanced vehicle capable of more versatility by comparison for the ever evolving battlefields the clans find themselves on.

As the lines between Clan & Inner Sphere blur, this would make a great chassis to base variants on. Mobile Command, Med-Evac, Gunship, Recon etc. 😎

Better than normal artwork. Like the WWII nose gunner position LOL It is nice to see logistics being mentioned as without supplies your war machine grinds to a halt and gets carpet bombed to death.

I flew on an Anhur once, pilot was named Ben, no relation.

Logistics... Not the best part of Battletech, but certainly in the top ten reasons to love the setting.

Unless I'm mistaken the cargo module is detachable. It looks like it has retaining latches at the top near the wings. So it would come in fast, Thunderbird 2 the supplies and wing it out of the hot zone before it got cato.

Would be a waste in combat. Maybe hot dropping troops, but no sense in it sticking around

7 ton's of cargo capacity is pretty mediocre in a transport. Just for comparison, the V 22 Osprey, which is about the same size and purpose, can carry up to 10 tons. If it's carrying un-armored Infantry, sure. If it's resupplying Omni pods, it's pretty limited to most of the smaller weapons.
