That Ejection on AD was probably one of the worst reffing decisions ive ever seen. But still not as bad as tim duncan getting ejected for laughing. man the NBA really needs to sort out some problems
Joey Crawford (the ref in the Duncan issue) got suspended for several games (rest of season IIRC), got fined, and had to go though some consoling before he was allowed to ref again. He has also stated that the whole issue got his attention, and he started to work seriously on his "hair trigger technical" issue (he was a pretty good ref OTHER THAN his attitude issue). He turned into a good referee by a couple years after that event.
Bro I remember playing In high school and my teammate hit a game winner in an important game. Ref immediately waved it off, everyone on our team disagreed but we all decided to let it go. Found out later that the ref felt “ threatened” by us after the game and had reported our entire starting line up. I found out later that ref had a son……on the team we hit the game winner on.
Depends on the ref - there IS some of that at the lower levels, a little at the NBA level. Especially lately, when the refs in the NBA are taught to be "robots" and to let the offensive player get away with a lot in the name of "ratings".

Curry tries to bait the ref into a foul call by jumping into the defender and gets mad for not getting in. Try to make the bucket, stop trying to go all the time to the foul line. I really like what the NBA is doing this year.
1:32 You are required, when setting a pick, to give the other player a CHANCE to see it before they run into it. Also, the picking man WAS NEVER FULLY SET. Proper call, for the illegal pick. The tech was marginally valid, but an ejection was overkill.

You could make a video just on the Lakers this season. In a league that wants to get rid of having people go the FT line so much/drawing shooting fouls so the game is even more end to end, the Lakers have teams go to the FT line 15+ times a game for fouls that aren't even fouls. Then the exact same thing will happen on the other end and nothing will get given. Keep in mind, the Lakers have players that LOVE to drive to the basket, they aren't the best shooting team. Most fouls occur when going to the basket but the Lakers this year have been getting 0 calls especially Westbrook. T's for just being a certain player like the Westbrook one or trying to make the ref understand how awful his/hers call is (Melo most of the time lol). The Melo one where Crowder clearly pushes him would of seen him go to the line for 3 making it a 2 point game, they got smoked after Melo got a T and ejected. The worst of all was the ref carrying on the game when AD's shoe came off then ejected him for being angry over it. Again, the worst officiated team in the league this season. The new rules are great but the way they've enforced them have been horrible, it seems like the old rules still apply to certain players and the new rules to others. But it should of been expected when these changes are quite big, look at Harden being targeted on the shooting fouls. It should never be like that at all. Keep in mind also I don't really support teams I just enjoy watching certain players so I watch most teams. Lakers are EASILY the worst officiated team in the NBA.
The Lakers are 4th in the league in FT attempts per game. They are also 4th from the bottom in opp. points off turnovers. Most of their stars (apart from AD) are not in a condition to defend due to their style of play and age. It 's normal to commit fouls when you don't hustle. Assuming that the refs and therefore the league has an agenda against the Lakers is beyond fictional. There are good teams, like the Nuggets/Bucks, and several other not as good at the moment, like the Raptors/Spurs, that most of the time have to beat the refs as well as the opposing team to get a win.
