I've been watching your videos for years. Love how you let the evidence come naturally and not forcing anything on the viewers. Thank you for great content.
Jim.. been watchin forever.. only go searchin when it soothes your soul.. we appreciate all your efforts for over a decade and do not take it for granted (LIKES)! Cheers from Winnipeg
A good camera is the GoPro Max. It films the front and the rear simultaneously. It has two cameras in one. With the editing software you can choose to show only what you want to see. The Bigfoot is behind you. You don’t see it but the camera sees it. In editing you choose to only show the rear. You would have to mount it on a pole above your head to get all sides at once. It should be the perfect camera for what you do.
@@timbergiantbigfoot Scott Carpenter in TN has captured many sightings with his back-facing camera. You probably know of him with his many videos and books. He's a nice guy that maybe could help you capture more views of BF and whatever lurks in your forest. He has also captured dogman views from behind!
I think whatever hit that wood knock was warning YOU Jim of the Coyotes in your area . All your footage through all the years and not one of the forest people have been aggressive with you . Feel lucky. I have had one growl at me from across a river.. Talk about feeling something vibrate your chest .. Not a good feeling . Anyways .. I agree never go unarmed into the woods you never know what you will come across or what will come across you bud .. Be safe and Love the content !
Yeah, I'd definitely bring your safety gear with you on hikes. You never know what might come into your area and need something for defense. Awesome catch and camera follow of the coyote. Skiddish animals though. A couple of loud roars or shouting will normally send them in a different direction. Now, a pack of five is a different situation. That could have gone south fast. Gladly it didn't.
Dr. Jeff Meldrum would love those footprints. Theres a big difference between Bigfoot foot prints & Human footprints. Bigfoot have the "Midtarsal break" that he says is often evident in their prints. In the hard packed dirt, its most likely hard to see that feature.👣 Great video!
Have had several encounters with packs of coyotes, when I still could walk and ride my bike, before I had a stroke that left me mostly bedridden. After the first encounter, I started to carry a sidearm with me, at first a .357 mag, then later a Barrette ,40 S&W could carry more ammo and it was lighter. Two loads vs three mags. The last encounter I had, I had to shoot the alpha pair, they attacked out of the sage brush where I was riding. Barely got my bike between us, when the alpha pair were nearly on top me. That ended at a 60 mile ride, instead of the planned 100 mile for that day. After that I had my first stroke, where I lost my sense of balance and could no longer ride. Can barely walk, now, after my second stroke, but I still try. Never Give Up!!!
@@howardfreeland5595 Forgot that our neighbor to the north can no longer carry self protection firearms. I doubt that bear spray would work on a pack of coyotes, since it does not always work against bear, now that it is made of pepper. Had a can of the old style MACE, made with CN/CS gas, used it on a big black bear boar that charged the group I was with. It had already been hit with the pepper spray but it kept coming, when it got a faceful of that CN/CS, it stopped like it had run into a brick wall. The only problem be careful when spraying it up wind and it does not have the stand off range, that the pepper spray has. Now that I no longer have any I carry a sidearm. Have had to kill only two bear in my 70 years both were injured animals, one had been shot and the hunter did not go after it, it had gangrene spreading from the wound. The second one had stepped in a trap, as my friend and I walked past it charged us, it was less than 10 feet from us when we fired. We divided the meat, I got 60 lbs off the bone and the hide as a souvenir, it was my first bear.
@@howardfreeland5595 I keep forgetting that people in other countries do not have the same freedoms that we have here in the states. I have used my sidearm, the Beretta when confronted by packs of coyotes and against feral dogs, which are more dangerous. Used my .357 mag during a couple of encounters with both puma and bear. Just firing it in their general direction was enough to get them to go somewhere else, the feral dog pack, it took killing a couple of them before they broke and ran.
Its funny how they have spread out all the leaves so nicely all over the forest. Lol. Leaves make it hard to get a print. Smart sasquaches i think 🤔 bro . They study ur time line because we all have a system in our lives that we don't recognize but the forest people watch 😮
Nah, if you want a phone with the best recording and pictures, you need the Samsung galaxy s22 ultra. 120 mp, with AI assisted editing and so many other features. You can take clear pictures of the moon. IPhone 14 only has a 40mp camera.
LOL! Spiders on vacation! I can just picture a bunch of spiders, in tiny beach chairs, sipping drinks with tiny umbrellas in them and wearing little spider floppy sun hats! 😂😬
Those are bear tracks and he was sniffing out the area so they seem disoriented as he was turning and sniffing in all directions. Those are bear tracks. Just learn about tracks of all animals in your province. Coyotes do attack people. It happened to 2 of my employees.
I remember when you did a camping video years and years ago. I really enjoyed that. I hope you do another sometime. That video was a good time to watch I enjoyed the cooking and stuff.
Yes. Carry what you can to stay safe. We don't want anything to happen to you.- I had a larger spider come down from the ceiling in my bathroom the other day. Got caught in my hair a little because I didn't see him at first. I got him out of my hair and squashed him on the counter with a washcloth. Once I was walking under our maple trees in fall when the leaves were yellow. It was like I heard someone say, "She almost walked into it." Then I turned a little and there was a great big spider hanging from the tree not far from my face. I know angels are watching over me. One of the few times I've heard one.
It is that time of year, when mother coyotes are out teaching their young hunting strategies. Usually they are for the most part, solitary animals. When you see a pack, it's a family pack consisting of mother and litter, and yes, they will be around her size and they will stay with her throughout winter till next springs mating season. Usually why you hear a lot of them howling in evenings in summer too, family groups.
I absolutely love when tracks are found. Alot of structures and other sign can sometimes be blamed on something else but there is no denying a track, of course unless it's human but those appeared to be the real deal.
@@timbergiantbigfoot Bear spray would take care of most animals! If they can't see you they can't bite you! And it would give you time to get away from the situation.
I would strongly suggest to have all you need for defense/survival in the forest. That is what I do. Simple back sac with everything in it. For your phone, personally I don't like apple, I have an Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, with FHD+ (2,400 x 1,080) resolution HDR 10+. The videos/pictures are very clear. Woaaaa coyote !!! nice one ;)
I found a couple of things in a video of yours I know you would find incredible. Is there an email I can send the screenshots to ? This is not paradohlia.
You're very modest. You have SEEN and FILMED a few of these creatures. You're an amazing researcher
At time stamp 10:58 when you pick up a stick you can see a footprint buy a few yellowish leafs .

Thanks for sharing your walk with us, I love the forest area you have there.
The coyote is there as a distraction, always look in the opposite direction of the coyote, same thing happened to Christopher Noel
You ever think about taking a thermal imager out there at night and see if you can catch anything? Would love to see big red again!!
I used to think about that absolutely all the time - I just accepted that I’ll never afford one and have to be happy with what I have unfortunately.
