I am owned by a house panther named Maxine. She is truely a scaled down version of a panther. She has all the moves! She also thinks she is hiding but purs like a chainsaw all the time. I saw these patterns and have been wanting a cute black cat pattern to make her Christmas tree official. I will definitely be stitching these, they are great!
We had a black cat who was named Spud. His name came from our paraphrased line from the movie Ghostbusters, "the little spud slimed me!" The Black Cat Season design is awesome. Thank you for the discussion of fabrics and the photo resources on the website. And lovely cat ears by the way!
I can see the black cats stitched into a hexagon 3D box. I love taking flat pictures and making them 3D. Yes a drum would work but I think it needs to go up a notch.
My 1st cat was a black cat the we rescued from under a car in the church parking lot. I was just a little girl. My mom named him Gremlin-this was years before the movie came out. I would dress him in baby doll clothes & push him in my doll stroller. He was very tolerant 😂 I ordered this series & fabric as soon as I got your email! The fabric is gorgeous 💜 I even already had Ultraviolet so it was meant to be! Making myself finish one of my WIPs before I start it😜 Can’t believe how fast it shipped! Thank you!
I often call those pieces I don’t love working on my “perseverance projects”.
I love black cats. My daughter has one that we call Panthy. He has not a speck of white on him. Sometimes he blends so much that you don’t know he’s there and scares us when he decides to move, and I emphasize, he decides, also, while he’s not an outside cat, he will sit on the front porch when we are out there. Cats are my love bc they are so independent and live to the best of there own hearts ❤. (Another story that will take to long of a post). I’m off to buy this whole set.

Wow! I love everything. And, unfortunately for my bank account, I want everything. That said, I think I will calm down and wait for a while. Love the birds and the Halloween patterns. My medical problems have not gone away totally, but my son is my treasure, and he has helped me out a lot, So, that said, I hope that next payday I can spend a little money and get some patterns. Always enjoy your sense of humor. In real life, I am Karen Brettschneider, a name that is not easily forgotten. The Black cat series was a must have! I already ordered all the patterns, flosspack and bell pull. Plus the fabric. Of course the new Airmail birds had to join the party. Love the new patterns! My two black cats are Midnight and Shadow so the first pattern is especially perfect. And being picked up is not something they enjoy. Looking forward to stitching these. Love your outfit today!

Stephanie you're taking all my stitching allowance ;)-I really love your new patterns! Also I'm very drawn to the vintage Zweigart as I know I can see the holes! My cough syrup has been "Women of the Mayflower" but I forced myself to finish it with some pattern modifications(aka omitting the bottom third!). I'm very happy with it and will be so glad to hang it on my wall.

I ended up UFO on pandemic. Because for some silly reason I stitched it on 14 ct aida, big mistake. I have no wall big enough to hang it if I completed it lol. But I did save the part I did stitch and put it in my stitchy journal so that I can still enjoy it. Your patterns are so beautiful!

Today I received my Black Cat Series package! Love it all!! I'm always impressed by every small detail...the threads tied together with a ribbon, the surged fabric, the cute paper bag that held the fantastic bell pull, the sweet 'Thankful' design, the great quality of the design cards which were tucked inside a bend proof envelope and the tucked in love (Coffee Candy!) Thank you!!

Are the instructions for turning this into a bell pull published anywhere? I have it cross stitched and I have bought black and white polka dotted backing fabric. I looks like the width needs to be 4.25 inches max to fit on the cat hanger wire...so I assume you iron the backing fabric folded over 1/4 inch hem on each side...? And the top is folded over the wire? I'm just wondering how yours was done.
We're cat people. Our furry friends are Spike and Stripedy. Terrible names but great cats.

For the term, some combination of antibiotics and projects. Anti-bi-projects? No one likes taking them, they benefit from a schedule, and the results are glorious.
I call those projects Git ‘er Done Projects. GED acronym?
