To state I got addicted to this series is an understatement of the Century. I keep watching it over and over because each and every time I see something new. At first, it was reading the English translations. Later on, I looked at the details I had missed. Over time I wrote down how certain dishes were prepared and cooked. It may be "just" a show about a girl's journey and her cooking skills, but it still gave me some brilliant ideas for the cooking I've been doing for decades. Nobody is too old to learn something new and implement it. I just wish I could just take a bite or two, hmm, now there's an idea for a series where one is watching a show like this on a screen and be able to eat it. Nah, that's Sci-Fi.
This drama is as good as any cooking show on the Foodnetwork. The food looks delicious, and i love watching the food being prepared. This is definitely food porn. It's like a looking show with a family plot woven into it. I love the stiry line, too. It's so sweet.
I love that elder sister character along with her husband... my elder sister is also just like her... strict but loving and never back downs to protect me..only difference is my sister cooks tasty 😂😂😂
I bought this show on dvd as I love watching it now my daughter watches it and asks if she can try and cook some of these dishes with my mother in law in China

I watched Chef Hua, the name of the series, multiple times in the US, but recently it was cut off from US viewing. I can only watch it now using a VPN to change my location online. It's regrettable because I especially love episodes 24 and 25 of the series.

Please fix it and put it back in English subtitles because it’s worth watching. I give it 7.5 stars ⭐️ out of 10. If it gets the English subtitles then I will upgrade it to 8 stars ⭐️. Yes! It’s called Chief Hua. But, I believe it has another name. 😊
