The low entry barrier of programming is the main reason why wages will drop even more. And that might be the reason that many software engineers are moving to other areas. This thing is already doomed.

If you've learned how to code by yourself but are not confident for a real industry job, then I highly suggest that you do get more education or do some more studies on your own. On the other hand, if you are confident that you can accomplish virtually any or most of the work a client asks you to do from your own studies, then as you probably have guessed, then give it a shot. Having said that, you do need to do some research on how google developers, api things work if you want to work professionally in the industry. Their definition of a job guarantee is a job that pays you over $x dollars whether you are satisfied with the salary or the quality of the job or not. To them, as long as u get a job, even a shitty one, they'll count it as a job guarantee fulfilled. Make sure to read their contracts well if you are thinking of going this route. Also, imho, don't pay more than 20k for a bootcamp. Do your research and u'll be able to find good quality SWE bootcamps that offer job guarantees for less than that. Good luck
@@PIRATEKINGDOM yeah that is what i am scared of. Im planning to go to texasU full stack bootcamp. Hope you make some videos about options for aspiring S.E's that's gonna be a big help. What do you think competitive programming is the best way to crack FAANG or We can go with mobile or web development ?
You’d need competitive programming (leetcoding) to pass the interviews, but would need a good work history or background to get an interview in the first place and that can be done with mobile/web programming
@@PIRATEKINGDOM this advice may not hold true for India where there are 1000s of students applying for few roles.
@@TheMsnitish yeah my advices are generally more applicable in the US
@@PIRATEKINGDOM Thanks. In India, if you wanna get into FAANGs, you would need to have the clear the initial OA rounds which are like the typical codeforces questions from Div2B and sometimes Div2.C. which are very different from the LC type questions.
What do you think I should do guys I’m going to university to do coding without any knowledge of coding should I stay off for a year and learn the basics ?
It's not uncommon to find university computer science students walk into their first programming class without any knowledge of it. In fact, I was one of them (although my major's electrical & computer engineering)! But it still does help if you do know it in advance. Speaking of which, do go to university, but you can get the basics started from RUclips as I've mentioned.
Sounds good ....😏
I love your content
I would start with Harvard CS50
Hello my brother
Python or C++ what should I learn as I'm in 2nd year of IT engineering and I want to look for some internships
Python. I wouldn't recommend learning C++ at all unless your goal is to become a game developer or an operating system architect.
@@PIRATEKINGDOM thank you ❤️
@@PIRATEKINGDOM and sir is java good to learn as a first programming language, to be a good web developer.
