I’ve been a fan of Ásgeir for a decade now and his music always surprises me. There’s been a lot of loss in my family and a moody, wintry song like this is always welcome and cathartic. This is exactly what I needed. Also, Arny is wonderful in her own right. This is such an impactful and wonderful pairing of two great talents. Much love.

Beautiful performance, absolutely love it. I hope Asgeir is able to make it back to Minnesota again next year, especailly with these kinds of stripped-down acoustic songs. (...but I do wish the mix would not have added as much saturation as it did, it's distracting and pulls away from the emotion of the volume swells in the vocals, like at 1:18. Or maybe it's just clipping :(...)
its in drop d, but everythig is tuned down a tone so technically you don't need the capo unless you want to do it like how they did. the chords are variants of c major, g major, b minor and eminor in the verses, you need to alternate the bass notes (root and octave or fifth depending on the chord) with your thumb and pick the rest with your other fingers.
