I am absolutely in tears right now. My family and I were very close to Gwana (to the right) and her family in New Orleans. Her grandmother, Mrs. Alice practically was a mother to me, her and my siblings. Playing in the band and being a Southern U. Alumni myself, this is very heartwarming to see. As a little girl all Gwana did or wanted to do was "dance".🤗

@@johnnyappleseed1988 They weren't official doll counts but they were still doll style. All it takes for a count to be official is for the captain to say yes and teach the squad then throw it once and it's officially in the doll count book. Few crabs even make counts their crab year and they just started dancing for dolls.
