I watched both Pastors Scott many years ago. Pastor Melissa came to my mind today and I searched and found these sermons. I'll assume Holy Spirit brought her to mind for a reason. I'm very excited about this teaching on the Book of Revelation and I'm looking forward to it.
Pastor Chuck Baldwin said that the judgement chapters in revelation is John’s version of the Fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Josephus was an eye witness to 70 AD
Chuck Baldwn is missing the point. The similarities are close but you don't get no cigars. The whole world wasn't tribulated in AD 70, and you know it.
brilliant teaching Dr. Scott!!!! Occam’s Razor/truncated version: UNLESS a bored Bedouin boy is throwing rocks in caves and discovers some new ancient scrolls that radically change the paradigm we are all stuck with the same texts which we disagree on! So it is fruitless to debate text ad nauseum but what about OPERATIONAL ISSUES?: 1. How cruel for God , after sacrificial evangelical church has JUST finished the great commission and brought in the fulness of the gentiles to IMMEDIATELY “reward” his faithful church by cruelly inflicting on it/them the worst time in all human history!? WHY?2. The satanic persecution of early church at least served a purpose, it toughened and purified the church to take the gospel to violent pagan tribes around the world, but immediately after trib will be the millennial reign where lion lies with lambs, a close to near Eden/paradisal state where church will not need to be “toughened”. 3. By Rev. 14 about 60% of all humans are dead, including Christians- arguably form disease/plagues, wars, asteroids, earthquakes, starvation etc etc..what PURPOSE does that serve for God? 4. God gives specific warnings for Jews in Jerusalem to flee and tells them where to flee to and they will be supernaturally protected there for the entire tribulation, but God gives no such warnings or instructions for Christians or his church.. WHY? Yes the understanding is that these Jews will be witnessed to and led to Christianity, good thing, but is God just throwing all of Christians and church under the bus, but not unbelieving rebellious Jews? THAT MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE WHATSOEVER! 5.Jesus tells us multiple times “Fear Not” and ostensibly not to prepare, yet most Christian babies will starve if parents cannot buy or sell..not to mention toddlers, children and adults for that matter.. WHY? 6. Countless warnings to occupy till Jesus comes, watch always, go set a watchman, like a thief in the night, parables about master going on a long journey and servants admonished to always be watching for Masters return, always watching, a day or hour no man knows…. Etc… but none of these make any sense if church goes through tribulation..at EXACTLY the half way point of trib antichrist attacks Jeruslaem and desecrates the temple.. so we know EXACTLY then when Jesus will return half way LATER!! Thus this makes all the warning voices a nullity or even outright false! 7. Jesus promises that the gates of hell will never prevail against the church but in the tribulation the restrainer is removed and Satan is given power to overcome the saints, so this is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what Jesus promises!! A basic rule of bible interpretation is to interpret the bible so it is reconciled that no interpretation makes other verses patently false! 8. I have to choose words carefully here because the algo censors these usually… but what about the Masada option? Many do not know this but several hundred thousand jews when they found out the camps were not relocation camps but death camps chose the Masada option in Berlin etc… does our Jesus really want his church to have to be placed in this cruel dilemma? Think it though carefully! And why wouldn’t/shouldn’t we, especially if we crack under pressure of us and loved ones being starved/tortured and other unmentionable things-we take the Mark and are damned to eternal hell? Also when Jesus was leaving he told his followers he was going to prepare a place for them, but if he raptures his church AFTER the tribulation they shoot up and do a huge U turn and come right back down with Jesus as he returns to earth for the millennial reign, in which the church will participate, thus making a nullity out of Jesus’ promise to prepare places in heaven. ESCHATOLOGICAL theory has CONSEQUENCES!!!
I'm less than a novice after being a member of several churches, at 74 I still feel I haven't been learning from the best available to me. Pastor Scott's knowledge and presentation fits thus missing link for me, finally. My only comments are, thinking of your #3 about 60% dying and why, consider Noah's little boat. And, I believe Pastor Scott said we don't have all the answers yet. She's doing a terrific job teaching and interpreting this Great Book with skill and I'm grateful God brought me to her. I don't want someone yelling fire and brimstone at me. I want someone who is well educated, with the best tools teaching me thoughtfully and with careful logic.
This @ end of age “ was referring to The End of Judaism” the old covenant, the temple sacrifices. Remember, the scepter will remain with Judah UNTIL SHILO, comes “ the ultimate and last KING of Judah was Yeshua! Yahweh did away with everything that was only a foreshadow of the New Covenant.
The restitution of all things spoken by the prophets and one of those things is the Tabernacle of David and the Tabernacle of David is the "righteous rule of law" and that is not something imposed by the church it is what began here in the USA the founding fathers established the rule of law
Mrs. Scott, I have a question. What is your political stance? Would you say you are conservative or liberal? (Yes, I am referring to the modern day interpretation of liberalism) If ur not willing to take a public stand politically for your faith..why not? We are in a spiritual war, God judges nations. God's punishment of a nation's leader also falls to its ppl. Even when those ppl have little say on who will lead them, yet we have been blessed with a chance to make our voice heard and to stand up and be counted in the eyes of The Lord to cast our lot supporting sin or opposing sin but stay seated hiding behind cherry picked misinterpreted scriptural justification for not voting claiming you will "Trust in God" ....your not "trusting God" you are TESTING GOD! Churches, Pastors, Congregation, we Christians have failed to stand up politically and elect leaders that represent our faith and goal to have a more Christ-like society promoting Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Hmm...Can we the fulfilled view convince you of our view? I respect your diligence in study and in sharing and I agree with im sure your view on salvation and even in this study i definitely like your pointing out adam and the new adam in Jesus Christ. I agree that definitely that some things in Rev. are meant to be taken literally and some things metaphorical but we see which is which differently. One of the passages that has helped me convince me that His presence is already here amongst us is the Olivet Discourse. When comparing this discussion Jesus had with His disciples in Matt. 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 , we see Jesus speaking on the stones of the then standing temple coming down and in matt. 24 the disciples ask....(when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age?),,,,now when comparing to Mark 13 and Luke 21 ,,,,,they start off the same with Jesus pointing out the temple will be destroyed but in these 2 gospels the question is simply put..(when will these things happen and what will be the sign these things will take place?) It looks clear after this that Jesus and the disciples believed the temple destruction was the time of His coming and end of age. What are your thoughts on that?
Mat.12.38¶Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. 39¶But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. THREE DAYS, THREE NIGHTS Mat 16.21¶From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. RAISED ON THE THIRD DAY 27.63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days, I will rise again. AFTER THREE DAYS Mark 8.31¶And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. AFTER THREE DAYS Luke 9.21¶And he straitly charged them and commanded them to tell no man that thing; 22Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. RAISED THE THIRD DAY Luke18.31¶Then he took unto him the twelve and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished. 32For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on: 33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again. THE THIRD DAY The sign of Jonah by itself is very specific. To land on a day, you have to begin with a night. No choice here. Then add "after three days" it's more and more detailed. The big difference between Sunday morning and Friday evening is the half day difference. To get a Sunday morning resurrection, you have to do away with part of the sign of Jonah. Sundown Friday to sunup Sunday is one day and a half. Thursday to Sunday, two and half days Wednesday to Sunday, three and half days Only one choice left Wednesday at just before sundown to Saturday at just before sundown Wednesday was the 14th, and Saturday was the Sabbath, the 17th He raises those at Mat 27.52-53 (Obiediah 1.17, Rev 14.1-5) after His resurrection. After sundown the 18th (Lev.23.9-12 the morrow after the Sabbath) Luke 24.10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary, the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles. Mat 28.1, Mark 16.1, Luke 24.1, are all Mary Magdalene's second visit to the tomb. Jhn 20.1 is Mary Magdalene's first visit to the tomb. (Notice "we") Only place the first visit is recorded. Jhn 20.11 Is Mary Magdalene's second visit to the tomb Peace

I've been following this lady's message for more than ten years.
Thank you
This is awesome, and intimidating Thank you pastor Melissa Scott. Time to find the next part.

Jesus said the Kingdom of God (Nation) would have a small insignificant beginning but that it would grow to be the greatest of all Nations
