I love riding downtown. I don't have a BMX, but I ride my fixie or my single speed hardtail. There are so many places on the Riverwalk you can ride, San Pedro Creek Park keeps getting extended, King William, Southtown, Hemisfair, and even the Alamodome to Hays Street Bridge. And of course, the Sam Antonio Museum of Art to the Pearl. They're also going to open a skatepark under the Hays Street Bridge. I like to park at San Pedro Park and ride in from there.
This video is awesome! A bunch of us 40 and 50 year olds in my circle of friends did a banana seat bike bar crawl a few years ago, and it was so much fun! We've been getting into BMX now, so definitely doing a BMX bar crawl in the near future. San Antonio looks beautiful. Loved the water walk.
Sweet...nuttin like going for a ride with all ur buddies!!! Back in the 80's we would do that same ride u did.. except we would all meet up at someone's house and and ride to the arcade and blow a crisp $5 worth of quarter's playing our favorite arcade machines...Then have some lunch and we ride on back home and each of us would go our separate ways. We would also hit bike jumps and hit bike trails that were throughout our area in our small mountain town of Beulah Colorado. We'd see who could jump the highest..😅😅.. who had the biggest Balls and would attempt to jump a creek that was a pretty big jump and usually resulted in some good crashes 😅😅 from not getting enough speed and making the jump to the other side 😅😅. I had a few good pile up's trying to clear that Damm creek..LOL😂😂..the 80s were definitely the best!!! And we're R.A D !!!! 4 surzzz.. 😅
It was really awesome meeting you today at the dark side brick oven pizza Rad event. Thank you for help make it possible, and loved the bikes you brought out. See you next year hopefully at the second annual event… stay Rad my friend 🤙🤙🤙
That's a very cool video man. Awesome bikes. Dude, San Antonio is so Beautiful! There are some bike trails in Brackenridge Park in San Antonio if I remember right. Also a New Braunfels bike ride would also be cool in. There is a guy in the comments in New Braunfels right now. I am kinda far in Bryan Texas but would be glad to do a ride out sometime.
Dude!!!!! I’m 54 and will be starting my own build this winter. I’m inspired and excited, I can’t wait for summer!!!!

Good luck! It's a lot of fun.

Killer city to ride. Used to hit it on my Big Ripper when I lived there. Liked to drop in at the hill by Tower of Americas.

I have a nice 29er, but I would really love to get an old-school BMX. How does one attain such a bike without spending thousands of dollars?
They aren’t cheap! Build your own and save some money
Yo, how does one get invited to go on one of these rides? I live in New Braunfels and have been wanting to reach out to you. Hit me up.
