It's only the backup singin' you hear in the chorus... and yes... you're hearing Dickinson there, because he was in the backup track as well. He sticks to the same notes there as the rest of the guys though. I did the same thing when me and the band I was in, recorded our songs, simply to add yet more punch to the chorus.
Actually, it's not muted. The MASTER tracks were released for e.g. Guitar Hero, then people got hold of these and put them together one by one. There are separate tracks for drums, bass, guitars, and vocals. The uploader put every master together, except for the vocals. There is no way of muting the voice of the original song from the CD.
@@ArthurDan583 true, if you have all the tracks separate. But someone can also assemble them again if they have the separate tracks but then the mix may not be the same. but this one sounds pretty decent but not mixed the same it sounds to me. still cool.
Steve is on fire with his "galloping" bass! altho a trademark of his playing, the galloping seems spot on in the historical context insofar as the use of horses in the outrage that was the campaign against the 1st Nations of North America! just awesome
Finally. A version that doesn't regurgitate all my History classes.
What a bizarre comment.

Come on you guys. Not an audition tape or a karaoke version. This is the real deal. They simply muted Bruce's voice and released it!

I know that. But if you open the section on multi track you'll be able to mute the vocal track. ;)

Man, that opening riff really should've been extended to twice as long, so we'd hear half of it before the vocals began.
