I hope that this lockdown carry on has finished by then and hope your move is swift and stress free. Even if you can't move in August, keep the option open of moving back home. I'm sure your other half will love it. I know quite a few EnglishScots now and they would not move back down there now. They love Scotland too much, just as much as us.

As an outsider who visited Scotland, I’m American, I think the fact that 45% of voters wanted independence is a big deal that is completely ignored by Westminster .... if 45 out of 100 people want to completely declare their independence, something is very wrong in the relationship ... I believe that’s the percentage of colonials who felt grieved by Britain and fought the war for independence in 1776
