For them to have achieved such a controlled tuning means they have probably spent a lot of time perfecting it and making it sound as smooth as possible, plus the build quality alone means the price cannot be that low. Imo the price is "right" for what it is, the question now is who would still want to spend that money on a single dd, and I think there is a market for people who prefer single dd's to hybrid, for them to get the best possible option for under 300 I would say it's reasonable. It's not going to be the best absolute iem you can get for the price, but if that's what you want specifically well now there's an option

Not really. They are much faster and more precise. I think DDs will still be employed for bass thump and timbre in many implementations, and single DD sets may still be common in the low end of the market, but I doubt there will be any that will be able to compete at $200+ except for nostalgia value. Time and the market will tell.
is Dave coming back ?
the new presenters/presentation doesn't seem as knowledgeable or engaging .

pls review the Ziigaat nuo.
if it was priced like aria 2, would be great
And if it was priced like the Moondrop chu, it would be even better! /s
If this really is that much better than the Kato, I think it wouldn't be realistic to expect such a product to be priced that low, we're still talking about a very high-level single dd, and single dd's are much harder to tune than hybrid iems.
