Spotlighting Minority Housing Developers: Men and Women United for Youth and Families

For over 50 years, the Housing Assistance Council (HAC) has supported minority-led housing developers as they work to solve their communities’ greatest housing challenges. At the 2023 National Rural Housing Conference, we sat down with six of our local partners to learn more about how our lending and capacity building has impacted their work.
Men and Women United for Youth and Families (MWUYF) is a non-profit organization located in Delco, NC, serving Bladen, Brunswick, and Columbus Counties. Their mission of is to promote education, resource awareness and to provide services to assist in creating independent and self-sufficient youth and families in our community. MWUYF believes that each family is the driving force behind their own success. Their programs assist, enrich, and enlighten each family member with valuable resources and educational opportunities to enhance the quality of their lives.
