Mark , on my lil digger, I got tired of the bolts on the back panel. Took them all off and installed two hinges on the panel. Used a wing bolt on opposite end and voila, easy access alll the time. Yeah

Hi mark, in saw your video abou the excavator, i just bought one myself. Now i dont know how to check whether there is enough hydraulic oil. Can you help me with that. How full should the meter be?
    Thank you in advance.
    Gr jasper

Hi, depending on your model, mine has a simple clear bubble gauge on the side and shows the level (empty-full) but I double checked by unscrewing the hydraulic reservoir cap on top, look in and if needed, like oil/water on a car topped up if required. Check your oil levels and make sure you grease all the moving joints, I had to change the nipples for male ones. Best thing I have ever bought, good luck.

It looks like your hydraulic fluid is low. That glass is telling you how the fluid level is.
If you are not able to work on these cheaper mini excavator. Dont buy . You will have to work on it. I bought a Hightop ht10b version. Mine is gas. I have had mine for a 1 1/2 year. The swing arm is the only major broken part. Cost 300 to fix. I did remove the back panel.
Dont leave power switch on. It will keep adding hours to meter. A thum is a must. Manual is ok. Hydraulic is best. I had to weld mine on. Didn't have the mounts

Hydraulic fluid is full but it does look empty, I did checked it. Your right in saying about working on them, I have been playing around with it ever since I bought it and fixing things. Thanks for the info and sharing, the worst thing on mind is the fuel tank and the rubber mounts holding it?

@@mjsimo1 I've got virtually the exact digger as yours for three months now and I love it! Faced the same issues with the diesel tank with the rubber mounts destroyed because of the engine shake. It resulted in the bottom part of the tank springing a tiny leak due to rubbing against the metal brackets, I replaced the rubber mounts now with thick felt and they seem to be holding out well so far. I also covered some of the hydraulic hoses which are rubbing against the chassis or other hoses with split poly pipes for protection.
