Charleston gators are aggressive, especially in the saltwater marshes. Every time I’ve been close to salty gators they’ve always came closer and always twice my size. Four times all close calls smallest was a 9ft, usually about 12ft; Edisto to Cooper River
Bless this man! Wrestling with an alligator under 50 feet of water, out of air, and he survived. Prayers to him for a speedy recovery!!
