I like Lee Van I dig his style I think hes a good lookin dude. And Lee stays in the money. Homeboy is always in the cash. Man.. I wonder how much he made on paper last year. Not counting gambling just tournament money.
Well, my man doesn’t miss much, so I’m guessing he does ok. Lee Van has always been one of my favorite players too. Damn, the Filipinos turn out some great players, don’t they?

Come on, take it easy. Reyes is an all-time legend, no need to bad mouth other players. Even Reyes had moments where he took his lumps, like when retired Snooker legend Steve Davis made a monumental comeback and beat Reyes at 9-ball. Even the legends have ordinary days.
Are they assigned seats only? Who's going to watch an entire match leaning at 45°? Or craning your head over the guy in front of you, when there's empty chairs all over the place? Lol
Are they playing with basically 9 ball rules? Seems like the exception is making the 10 on the break being spotted. I'm sure there were a few slop shots during the match.
What the hell is with the paper rack? Long time since I have watched! Last thing I watched on RUclips was Willie Mosconi and Minnesota Fats playing on a 5x10.....they make these guys look like amateurs!
Leevan is actually a higher fargo rating at 813, number 12 in the world and Alex is number 16, 810 rated. So no, objectively I would say they play around the same speed although you can make the argument that Leevan has played much better in recent years. Alex just tends to choke in recent years late into tournaments, still a great player tho.
@@awakenedsoul2638 speed means like level, they play at the same level. I would say being unlucky all the time is testment to inconsistency and ultimately being a worst player. Leevan won a bunch of stuff recently even beating filler and shaw so I don't think he'e worst than Alex.
Mark's comments and analysis are spot on. 👍 Good job.
The Derby City is a great tournament. Good rules. And the best 2 comentator combination in pool. Thanks guys. Nothing beats quality.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Best quality uploads on RUclips. Love Diliberto's commentary as well, very calming and also knowledgeable, and funny!

who else here thinks commentator's voice sounds like ine of the friends of winnie the pooh? is that eeyore? lol
1:38:27, Lee Vann missed the two ball. Why did he stay at the table? 10-ball is call shot right?
The "Big Foot Challenge" on the 10-foot table is NOT call shot. Usually 10-Ball is a call shot game.
The four ball went in after the cue ball bounced off of the two. A carom shot, even though it was likely accidental.
At this level the brake is so important
Go back to the other ear!! Ha! Danny, one of the funniest jokes ever.
Aren't they more likely to have dry breaks on 10 foot tables?
Is this a 10 feet table?
Yes.
Are they assigned seats only? Who's going to watch an entire match leaning at 45°? Or craning your head over the guy in front of you, when there's empty chairs all over the place? Lol
Started mid-match. Hard to stop to go back to beginning, lol. I will after.
can someone confirm, is this a 5x10 table???
Yes, it is a 5x10 table.
Are they playing with basically 9 ball rules? Seems like the exception is making the 10 on the break being spotted. I'm sure there were a few slop shots during the match.
At 1:21:09 Lee Vann hits the 5 it hits the 7 but still goes in.... I consider that slop.
What cue is Alex braking with?
Braking? Brembo, probably.

Mosconi and fats played on a 5 1/2 inch pockets.. Basically buckets. Alex and Lee van would torch them in this 4 1/4inch, 5x10 table.
