So good, I truly enjoy listening to your walk talks, I look forward to listening to you after my house empties in the morning ❤ thank you for doing these
I love the comments on how we are not trees to produce fruit but are branches who bear fruit. That really hit me as I listened to this. Great talk, I learned so much.
Ive spent years with guilt about not feeling remorseful about my sins. Ive hated it! I wanted to feel remorse because it hurt Jesus and sent him to the cross. Been told that when we feel hurt, think about how we hurt Jesus
Billy Graham for example would constantly say "To come to Christ, first you must repent of your sins" and i would think hang on what? Surely Christ done the work. Why do we need to add to the work?😅
It’s interesting how so many people revert to that first statement or actually it’s a question “so you think you can just do whatever you want?“ It makes the wonder what is it that they want to do so bad? If I could press the button right now, and not sin ever again I would. however these people seem to want to do something else it seems like classic projection
Hi, Matt. I want to share your ministry with someone who feels they are going to he’ll probably because of their past sins and they believe they can’t live the “religious lifestyle” What video would be best to share with them?
@@MichaelDBiggsthe passage you referred to is describing an unbelieving Hebrew person who was balking on trusting in Jesus and shrinking back toward Law observance and temple work. Not a Christian. Here's a deeper look: mattmcmillenministries.com/the-danger-of-mixing-the-old-and-new-covenants/
@@MichaelDBiggs No it's not. The author of Hebrews specifically changed the word "Law" to "laws." The Hebrew people knew full well it was always Law. It is lowercase and plural. So they'd know the author wasn't referring to the commandments in the book of the Law. God does not write 613 commandments on our heart. He writes Himself, instead. Here's more on this.
