First time I've seen this game, it looks like fun! Thanks for the playthrough and I love the way you explain your actions. Yours has become one of my favorite yt channels and I'm always happy when you post a new video!
Thank you so much! That is so encouraging and makes doing this videos worth it. It is a very fun game for me, and I'm looking forward to trying out the campaign mini expansion.
I played Valeria Card Kingdom and Shadow Kingdom of Valeria. Both were okay but just didn't fit the bill to stay in my collection. Unfortunately, I feel the same about this one just okay. Thanks for the playthrough. Have a great day!
Thanks for watching! I haven't played those other two, but I've heard similar things about them. I'm enjoying this game so far, but looking forward to trying the campaign expansion. And you have a great rest of the week! 🙂
Mine was a review copy. It looks like it's still available from the publisher here: www.dailymagicgames.com/other-valeria-games/siege-of-valeria-base-game
Great victory! Congrats! I thought you could always attack siege engines no matter where they were on the grid unlike the other cards... Did I play it wrong? Anyway, I really like this quick solo game (especially with the expansion which adds more fun powers on your side and on the other as well!)
I played it that way for a while too, but after some research, I found out they have to be in range or front. That means, if you don't figure out how to attack them before they are in range, they will always activate their effect at least once before you can hit them. So, if they are front and out of range it costs 14. If they are in range, they don't need to be Front. It definitely makes it a little more balanced, but still achievable if you play your cards right (haha). I'll definitely have to try the expansion soon.
I played siege of valeria but didn't like it to much. Maybe with the expansion would be more interesting 🤔 . Also , i have two other solo games in my mind , sabika and tiletum . What do you think about those? Have a nice day!
Ahh, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it. The expansion does look interesting, but I don't think it changes the overall gameplay much. I have not played Sabika, but I have heard some good things about it. I like the look of it for sure. Tiletum is one of my favorite Tascini games. It's very approachable, gives you a lot of fun, comboing actions, and is fairly quick to play. The AI bot does take a little to get used to (1-2 plays), but then it's fairly smooth. Thanks for watching!
To me, the game would feel too samey without the expansion after 5 plays... The expansion, without being that awesome, adds just enough variability between each game (player base power, adversairy power, new big bad engines, new troops) to make every game or campaign feel a bit different. Glad I own it...
Interesting game! I will need to rewatch it tomorrow. ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks, Mark! I was surprised at how much I enjoy it. It's a fun mix between One Deck Dungeon and Puzzle Dungeon.

question, do you not add the strength of the vangard cards to the cards above before removing?
Daniel, can I ask a question? Where did you get your copy? I've had issues finding a copy for sale. Hmmm.
Thanks for your review!

Cool! Thanks for the rule clarification! Sounds good that way!
No problem! If you find out later that I'm mistaken, let me know 😆
