Don't get jealous because you chose to spend 70% of your earnings just on rent for your property and these guys were smart and live a virtually rent free life. If you believe getting up for your 9-5 and sleeping in a dwelling is a life then you will be wrongly mistaken, you are showing the traits of somebody whos depressed living their life on repeat.
Get a life, get a narrowboat.

Mark, you were spot on with your speed past the moored boats, we have encountered that many times with impatient followers, we always let small faster craft go past as soon as possible so think you did well to bite your tongues when his engine failed, Thats boating for you eh. Apart from that thank you for tasking us through the Fens with you, both have some courage to tackle them narrow drains. Loving your hair Debs, grown so thick, nice style. I need to order some beer you recommended several vlogs back that we know our son will enjoy when he travels home from LA for Christmas. Think it is called Elgoods Cambridge Bitter, just fvound the note I made myself. See you soon XX

Just want to say that it's a good thing I'm not on the waterways because if someone had stopped dead in front of me, my barking would put Bonnie and Alfie to shame. Yes he was rather Iresponsible, I agree. But its so good to see you both back and looking so good. Its been a very eventful week for us here in Canada first you got a new prime Minister, then the death of our wonderful Queen. so its congratulations on you new Mrs Thatcher and shared condolences for our jointly wonderful Queen. I went to Windsor Castle to get my Queen's Scout Award in !952 at Windsor Castle. Then in 1953 our Scout Troop built a huge Beacon on Penn Beacon on Dartmoor for the Coronation. We sat around till the embers died down eating Baked Beans and sausages with great hunks of bread to mop up the last of Mr. Heinz beans. then we slept in 2 man tents till next morning. .
As I said good to see you back and posting another fine vlog.
Lots of love from me and Canada. Happy cruising, have a nice Ryte pint and a G and T for Debbie.

Oh heck fire 🙂 if someone is running over the speed limit, tell them! especially if they are causing problems or might cause problems with other boats (not just you) because of it. Just a nice little "hey, didn't know if you knew, but there is a speed limit here and you're way above/over it ... please slow down." Something like that. Ok, yes, you might get the finger, but still, they need to know. Wicken Fen is gorgeous, so peaceful, thank you for going there and taking us there, and showing so much of the beautiful life there. So pretty. What crops are grown in those fields around you?

    New subscriber here!
It was funny that you mentioned the
KC-135/R. I was in the United States Air Force when the 135s got the R modifications. I have flown a disgusting amount of miles on KCs and miss it greatly. It sure does help to have crewchief friends and take care of things on the flightline in a pleasant and professional manner.
I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters working the A-10s until they left and the base closed. That was the shortest 22 months and absolutely loved East Anglia. My mom was British so I had a connection and there was little to no surprise in any of the differences between our two countries.
So wave to those jets going over, there's a good lot flying them. It's been well over 25 years so I doubt I would know any now but I know the crowd and they are good people.
Don't be thinking of arming the bow of that canal marauding beastie!
    LOL! Be safe and enjoy
    Cheers

I have just watched this wee video. I am both impressed and entertained, a rare combination.
I have just subscribed (and hit the bell, Debbie!) and I am going back to watch EVERY episode in a binge!!!
I may be some time...!!!🤣🤣🤣 Living on board as a permanent cruiser is something I am contemplating seriously, so I hope I get an idea of the fun that can be had on a narrowboat. (Within the bounds of common decency!!!🤣). well, enough chat, ON WITH THE SAGA!!!

First a cruiser stops suddenly in front of you, then two fellas stand around on a bridge you are doing a tricky turn under. People in the uk are either very brave, or foolhardy. Maybe they have no idea how heavy a narrowboat is. Or they know how skilled you are.

Gosh where have you both been? It was so nice to have a new video to watch. That motor boat showed what a type of driver he is. Sits on someone’s tail then revs past you causing so much wash so I hope he stopped because he had too much water get into engine for showing off. When you went down the very narrow river I was having kittens thinking what do you do if you meet a barge coming on the opposite side? Where you moored after the bridge did you mean you walked from there to the pub? Sorry I got a bit confused as not sure if you had moved then moored next to the pub? Anyway lovely to see you both again take care x

    Hi you two lovely people,
Well, when we saw that Tupperware boater overtake you then cut right in front of your boat, we thought "That's a Crash-for-Cash" con if ever we saw one. Didn't think they'd do it to an 18 ton boat though!! Did you notice the colour of the seat of his trousers?!!
Still, all's well that ends well. And great vlog too, rolled along lovely.
    All the best,

Some year back going down the GU on the straight between the road bridges heading for Blisworth a hire NB come pass flat out. Must be late and trying to get back to base. I've 25/30 tons that stops like an oil tank. They suck the water from under me lose steerage and then go across the cut on my bows. All I could was ring down for hard astern. They luck they weren't rolled. They just carried on as if nothing happen. We were told they were still going flat out passing moored boats.
