Omar is amazing with them and will be Voice Play's featured guest going to Atlantic City, New Jersey with Voice Play this month to perform with the band, Chicago.
I know it's a totally "non traditional" take on an Irish song, but you know what? ...I just know my Irish grandmother would have bopped along to this. I really love when VoicePlay proves they're not just "theater kids" who dress up and act silly. They can SING! True Colors, I Can't Help Falling In Love, and I Can't Make You Love Me are some of my favorite "purist" acapella covers of any group I've known in 30+ years of listening to acapella. Peel away the paint and effects, and you get a group of men who are some of the best singers out there. The theatrics merely elevate what's already a talented group.
When I was about 60 yrs younger my Irish great-uncle George sang this song. I thought it was for me but now I think he was trying to get my dad to fix him another whiskey. So I'm thrilled that VoicePlay did this. Brings back to wonderful men in my life. These men are on that list as well - for all they do. Don't Stop Believin' shows off how they work with young people at Camp Acapella.

I love story-telling folk song, but had never heard this before. That's even though I'm old enough to have heard the Peter Paul and Mary version (Gilgarra Mountain). Great reaction! Voiceplay is the best, hands down. I will always be here for them and for Geoff.
