Great content, just a note that a lot of the tests were kinda focused on the same thing (WRX just is a bigger car). Like the grocery bags, suitcases and 5 people are all just showing the same thing, more interior space than the other. The parallel parking was smart to show it’s not just about being bigger; there are benefits to a smaller car.
Dude! This is great content. A true ownership review. I feel like the GR is more desirable but this review honestly swayed me to buying a WRX when I’m done with my MK7.5 GTI
Tips for parents on the install on the car seat. Have Dad put his knee and weight into the car seat base. This will cause seat to sag, now pull that seat belt as tight as you can. Once he gets up, that base will never ever move.
Love the videos. It's funny I'd still take the GRC any day. The car is in between a mini Cooper and hatch, it gives the 4 door comfort (barely) but is more fun because it's smaller. Keep it up 🫡
I drove my VB from Socal to Yellowstone and it was a very fun experience. Only thing I have a problem with is the stock brakes, almost hit a deer driving through Colorado and the brake feel made me a little less confident. Switched out the pads as soon as I got home.
Woulda been better to do a golf r to a gr Corolla but I understand things aren’t always apples to apples / can get what car you can get. Great content boys
As a dad with 6 month old I had a 22 wrx, car seat fits great. The heated seats in mine never got warm maybe it was an issue with mine idk. The lack of physical buttons and having to go through the screen was annoying. Good car but, needed more space so got a wrangler lol
If you update the software on the WRX, it updates the layout for climate control, making the heated seats WAY easier to access! Just one click. Just have to connect it to wifi
Depends on what you want... GR Corolla is more sport WRX is more car I drive in California traffic all day... I'll take the car. But if I had a cushy SUV and just wanted a toy that can fit my friends? Corolla all day
The aftermarket support for the wrx is hard to beat, really wakes up with a tune
This is exactly why I'm sold on the VB WRX. Its soo much more car and costs less money.
And you can easily get them for under msrp
I like the real world tests, gives a good feel on practicality

You left out the biggest thing, GAS MILEAGE!
All goes out the window when you pay that dealer premium for the GR.
perfect video for me rn. Have a VB and thinkin bout switchin to a GRC for my daily. Gotta see what the outcome of this video is!
bro when is the TacoBell sponsorship coming lmaoo
WRX ..... That's my purchase.
Interesting
LOL why
@@FatTofu-pu2li Can you afford either of these models ?? Probably not. But keep on serving coffee and biscuits. One day, you will be there.
Got the 22' base WRX for 29k with the sti short shifter and shift knob. Great value for the price.
Bought new? What was the out-the-door price?
@Bumpy8 34k that's with all the financing interest, taxes and doc fees
You can easily get a premium for the same price. Just haggle i got mine for 30k, out the door
Bought a 22 limited with 4k miles for 32.5 out the door. Came with an exhaust too

Love my VB, it’s an amazing all rounder daily.
Omg so glad I find a video about daily driving between the Wrx and GR. Thank you for the multiple test my guys🙏🙏🙏
We hope you both try out our plug and play amplifiers for both the WRX and GRC!

Nice comp...WRX def killin it in so many ways, not to mention the R&D for so many years w the flat 4 and AWD. well developed, solid.

This is a great series. I like the practical tests but I would have also tested with the rear seats folded down for the bag and luggage tests.
Woulda been better to do a golf r to a gr Corolla but I understand things aren’t always apples to apples / can get what car you can get.
Great content boys
Loving your GR content keep it up guys!
GRC for me i like hatchbacks over sedans, hatchys got that sporty look while sedans remain long and too subtle (most of sedans)
loving this series!
This is a really good video, guys.

WRX, baby. LFGO!
Really hoping you guys see this but I’ve been DYING for a Fiesta st build series. It’s a sick car and you guys should consider. Great vid btw✌🏼
GR dad here. No issues with two car seats but I am 5’8”. Lol
Love this video
golf r/gti would’ve been sick for the comparison. great vid regardless 🤙🏻
This is a content worth watching every second. Quality over quantity! Love the video! Wish you guys have a FL5 too haha
Depends on what you want...
GR Corolla is more sport
WRX is more car
I drive in California traffic all day... I'll take the car.
But if I had a cushy SUV and just wanted a toy that can fit my friends? Corolla all day
🔥 video
good informative videos
How many takes was that absolute perfect hand shake
What trim do y’all recommend for the wrx?
Should have kept all the bajas in for the speed bump test.
Your the best RUclipsr
WHATS GOOD FELLAS
Yeah the WRX is the better daily for sure - that’s y I went with the GRC 😂
What happen to the GC8 did I miss something?
Fold the seats down for the luggage test
How about that car is tiny, and anyone over 6 ft is cramped. I'm 6'4 and didn't fit in the GR. Plenty of room in the WRX.
Costco test!
Where’s the Golf R? Did you dump $10k in it and forget about it 😭
This is real sh*t! 😎
your 2015 sti was better.
STI > GR Corolla > WRX
Coming from someone who hasn’t driven the GR yet.
yo why did you disable comments on these CarPlay devices video you made? Are you a paid shill?
You left out the driving in traffic bumper to bumper clutching test. Gr automatic tranmission on order.
The manuals rev themselves while in first. I don't get how pushing the clutch is in traffic is an enthusiasts deal breaker.
@thehitman8663 how about power windows vs manual crank windows a deal breaker?
Gr corolla is better for daily (heavy traffic speaking)
The Corolla looks better
Nobody puts that many bags or suit cases in a care exaggerate much.
