I worked in Thailand for many years, and they definitely love durian there. Over time, I grew to enjoy the Monthong variety as it has a little more subtle favour and odor than many other types. The one featured here, Musang King, looks to be one of the real potent varieties. I always admired that bravery of the women in the market who would tackle the job of opening this huge thorny fruit. This is a nicely informative video.

Just keep the price down and every one can afford to buy them. China the one will make it possible for every country and theirs citizens able to afford to eat this beautiful fruit.❤

Why dont China claim Malaysia and Thailand as Chinese territories just as China does for the South China Sea on historical grounds? The Thai King has Chinese ancestry and the 15th-century Malaccan Sultanate paid tribute to China. Furthermore, both countries have a sizable Chinese population. Then, durian will be a local fruit. 😂😊
Well frankly speaking as a durian lover, you have to agree with me that eating a Thai durian is like eating Tom Yum with little spice and eating a Malaysian durian is like eating Tom Yum with the full spice. For this reason, I don't appreciate Thai durian. (From Singapore)
Always memorized first tasted when u were kid and keep that as the most favor even u get older. So Thai said their is better and Malaysian said their ' s better, and Vietnamese...so on . I had tried all those and I said any one with fresh and ripe is good!
don't be surprised in the future the price of Musang King will fall like the price of rubber when China becomes the biggest exporter of musang king durian.

The Chinese tasted the exotic fruit durian and now they are hooked. No wonder my hometown durians are so expensive now. Better the Europeans don't know how to eat durian so no competition and therefore no shortage of this fruit in south east Asia.
How long does it take from planting to bearing fruit? I remember we planted two durian plants at our house in Ipoh. One tree bore fruit after 10 years while the other didnt give a single fruit in 15 years.
4-5 years if you take care properly..there's method how to make it fruitful early..if didnt bore fruit you need to put kapur pertanian later put fertilizer..can learn it from malaysian youtube.
PRChina's agri-produces are always treated with very high concentration of pesticides, would suppose, the same growing methodology of extensive pesticides usages on these Durian Plantations. In the video we can observe drones spraying pesticides on the Durian trees.
kalau modelnya begini ya sudah skala industri, luar biasa.... pasti rasanya sama semua...kalau satu pohon enak ya yg lain juga enak karena dari satu induk dan itu juga sudah terseleksi
No one can defeat the taste, aroma, flavour and texture of Malaysian durian varieties especially the Tupai King, Musang king, Blackthorn, Red Prawns, IOI and etc.
Very detailed. Love it! I always want to know how they grow the King of Fruit and how it looks like. I believe this video is from Malaysian’s farming, correct?
My dad probably had most of the musang king in his plantation. When I was a kid. There were about 20 v "old" trees. And v tall. One of them bear huge fruit. All of the trees were different. There is also a parit(river) infront. Love this durian plantation.
My kampung house also has a lots of old durian trees, you can hear it fall every night and the elder would venture out to pick it up before the animal get to them.

Naturally grown, unlike the Thai durian which is heavy GMO varieties.
