I'm surprised - and disappointed - that Greg didn't make fun of Charlotte's "funk" @ 7:11 when she opened the bottle with the message inside. Another children's TV presenter moment.
They generally rig each series so that they all win at least one episode. The only thing they can't rig is the stage task so that's why they worked the points out that even a disqualification wouldn't result in a loss.

@Geomancer my guess would be not that they rig the tasks, but plan which appears in which episode based on the narrative they want instead of the order they're filmed. Cuz chances are you can find at leat a couple tasks that even the worst of them do well 😅😅

@@MTGeomancer There have been several occasions where they changed the scoring of a stage task so there wasn't a guaranteed winner, such as a couple in series 4 when Noel Fielding was in the lead, the 5 syllable one in series 8 so Paul Sinha could finally win an episode and the rabbit in hat task in series 2 so Richard Osman wasn't guaranteed to win the episode (which of course massively fucked up the series score). They didn't do it here or in David Baddiel's win since they were obviously losing the series anyway. That being said, Charlotte did win episode 5, and that didn't feel set up at all given she lost the prize task and gradually worked up the scoreboard from there, she even successfully argued with Greg over her bee and got more points as a result.
Apparently, he's going to be the cohost of taskmaster Jr, in the Alex role. I know he'll nail it, so I'm curious on how Rose Matafeo will handle the Greg role

I love that each group of contestants for each series has their own vibe (chaotic to wholesome) but all fun. I think this one is the most wholesome of the bunch specially Charlotte and Mike. Whoever chooses the contestant groups really do a good job of balancing each personality.
I really wish Taskmaster put together a soundtrack of all the background songs they play during tasks. They’re genuinely so catchy, hats off to The Horne Section
Every season I think to myself , this cast can't be beat. Here I am again, this cast is the best. Please don't ever stop this show. It makes me laugh and smile, not many things do that these days.
Alex gradually learning how to respond to "what's up?" from Jamali across the episodes is awesome, it's really endearing that Jamali still always asks Alex what's up even though he knows he doesn't know how to respond because Alex is a little grey assistant template never allowed to express any actual feelings.
I'm just happy I can watch this show in Canada with RUclips. I would have never known this comedic show without it. Thanks for posting the episodes love this show
I simply cannot get over Charlotte punting her fish off the stage immediately, then the show slow-motioning it and the pan to Greg's utterly confused gaze as he watches it soar through the air.
He deserved the 4 points. Mike's was way more diverse with the amount of characters he made up from an animal to a dictator to someone from the future to a skeleton.
Oh nooo, I didn't even realize that the finale is coming up next week! Too soon, I can't say goodbye to this fantastic group of contestants just yet :( I've absolutely fallen in love with this cast and albeit probably because of it being so fresh in my mind - I can say with certainty that series 11 will always be among my favourites
I think Taskmaster has somehow intertwined the fates of Lee and Mike. Even when it's not a team task, you see them hilariously and tragically lose together (Tower Task). Then that one episode when they both got disqualified so many times, they didn't manage double digits. I will genuinely feel sad to see them both as bridesmaids to Sarah on the stage next week! But it will also be very poetic, given their sad clown duo act. Fare thee well, boys.

I love this whole theme they do on taskmaster where they try their best to compile tasks that the underdog won in so they get to be the winner in at least one of the episodes

They don't really do that. Many if not most of the tasks are left purely up to Greg's judgement. If he hated Charlotte's prize task entry, and her photos, she wouldn't have won this episode.
IIRC series 12 is already confirmed, then series 9 will air on YT and at Christmas it's the second Champion of Champions. so while sad to see it end, once again, there's more and more to look forward to!
I had a feeling that Jamali has pyromaniac tendencies when he did the graffiti team task (earlier this series) but the island challenge in this episode definitely confirms my hunch.

I love this whole theme they do on taskmaster where they try their best to compile tasks that the underdog won in so they get to be the winner in at least one of the episodes
I mean they didn’t need to do it here as Charlotte already won an episode, I guess they just took the remaining tasks and saved the best for the last episode
They don't really do that. Many if not most of the tasks are left purely up to Greg's judgement. If he hated Charlotte's prize task entry, and her photos, she wouldn't have won this episode.
University exams are important, but taskmaster is importenter... 😌
