The only redeeming quality that 4 has, is that the explosion is a little more violent looking than the others. All the others have a cartoony explosion, but in 4 it looks like it would kill them.

What I hate of this kind of mini games it's that you depend in a 100% of RNG (RNG is random number generator, in this game, RNG decides if the bomb Explodes on your face,or it just lets some fume out, all based on the number of Levers) these games are just pure luck
I played Mario Party 4 first, so for years I thought Bowser’s Bigger Blast was the original until Top 100 told me otherwise. My parents and I always called it “The Dorito Minigame” because the shards always looked like little Doritos. Good times!
God, I hate games of chance. Cheep Cheep Chance can also go to hell. At least Chips and Dips is easier on Wii U or on an emulator since you can rewind and pick the winning card. Cheep Cheep Chance is predetermined and dependent on the PLAYER.
I'm glad Daisy won in the top 100 after losing in previous titles, the minigame was unfair since she was last and only had a 1/2 chance instead of 1/4 or 1/3
I feel the one from 2 does the intensity of this game the most justice. The time between activation and detonation is long enough without feeling too drawn out, the countdown is fairly quick giving you hardly anytime to come to terms with your loss, and most importantly, the music completely stops, making you wait in complete silence to see if you've just been screwed out of a crap ton of coins! Every other version gets one of these things wrong IMHO.
Funny how Top 100 has the most intense looking explosion out of all the games, with the entire room going dark and the giant sparks of electricity flying out.
I love how Superstars have the characters praying to God not to have the Bowser head explode
