Thanks for posting this! My Ascent II runs for 30-60 seconds after the bowl has evacuated. I called Liberty Pumps and they said to clean the sensors but I didn’t see those mentioned in the owners manual. You made my day. Thanks again.
5+ years with ours and it is still going well. We have learned cleaning it with a good descaler every 30-days is required to keep it healthy. To clean: take cover off of the macerator unit (that disables operation of the unit - not with the screws) so it can't run, add descaler to tub or sink, run hot water until you see the toilet level rising (don't go over it will flood of course), let sit for 6+ hours, put the cover back on and use it. Also using it for gray water (tub or sink) regularly is important (helps keep it cleaned). Based on how dirty those sensors were I am surprised it even ran. If you are going to open it pour a box of baking soda in it when it is opened, for fun flush some vinegar after it is back together (but seriously that helps too)..
What descaler do you use? I see saniflo has a specific descaler for their products but i want the liberty for US and better ease of parts I've seen. Thanks.
I wonder if lubing the sensors with silicone grease would help prevent buildup on sensors? However, the silicone coating might would make the sensors not work properly..not sure if anyone else has asked or tried this.
Michael, Loved your video . I need to get the Liberty or Saniflo to install in our basement. How long have you owned the unit? Do you think it will operate for a significant time before you have to replace the macerator?
What does the 9 volt battery control? My unit is displaying the red blinking error light and beeping. If I turn the power off it goes back to normal until I use it again.
Responding to my own comment, I cleaned up those sensors and it works perfectly, much appreciated for the vid, fingers crossed I won't have to play in that box anytime soon, stay blessed people

We're going on our 4th year. We have had no other issues. We are very happy with it.

Can you safely put antifreeze in during winter to keep from freezing?
Hoping your vid helps, I'm renting a space that has one of these and the alarm goes off alot

Any other issues? Is it still running? Would you recommend it to anyone else? I've been looking at buying this or one like it.
No other issues. It's working fine now. It was just a hard water buildup on the sensors. We now have a water softener so it shouldn't happen again.
@@michaelfarrell3446 what is a water softener
