Loved watching this while doing homework! Also wanted to mention that lazy moss poles are extendable! I’ve done it with my splendid and what I did is slide another plastic sheet maybe about a third of the way down into the first mosspole. I will say at some point you do have to put a bamboo stake in to make sure it’s not unstable. Extending could also cause sizing issues so you’d have to make sure all ur lazy poles are the same sizes!
Oooo that’s a great idea! The plastic sheets I found on Amazon are so small 😂 I need to source some larger ones 😬 Thanks so much for watching and the great tip Lily 🥹💚
I’m happy you are having success growing a Gigas now, they start to size up so quick and are just so beautiful. I found once it got a bit more mature the leaves stopped sticking in the sheath. Great video Natasha!!
37:35 u could use the double cup method, have some holes at the bottom of the inner cup & then the outer cup can act as a cache pot. It's beneficial if u pour too much water or want to flush the substrate.
I use the small squeeze bottles from amazon for watering moss poles! It's a lot easier than trying to pour water into the poles (I had a lot of messes that way 😅) and it's great for re-hydrating drier poles as well
Thanks girlie 🥹 This is one of those bottles - I just took the lid off 😂😂 It’s hard to water so many plants with that thing but that is a great point! I will try that next time (if I can find the lid 😬) As always - I appreciate you watching ♥️
Tip: Try misting the dry moss pole first before watering. The moss absorbs better. 🙋🏼♀️🪴 My amydrium medium silver is in aroid mix with drainage and up a moss pole. It receives no direct sunlight but a lot of illumination…it is thriving.
Your Esqueleto is looking amazing. It gets so massive. I have to give mine a pole and I do love the mix of the moss with the tree fern and having a black pole🖤
Hello I just suscribed😀thankyou for the tips with the moss pole knowledge. I am about to do a moss pole for my preteen monstera. I don't feel so nervous to do it myself. Thanks again😀
Wow, to me those first two pots seemed rather big 😅 Maybe cause I'm an chronic overwaterer, but my moss poles are the same size as yours but the pots are at most 5cm bigger!
Thank you :) Tree fern dries out quicker - that’s why I mix it with moss. I was thinking of adding vermiculite too 🤔 We shall see 😂 I just like that it’s easier to remove off of the roots and the aesthetic of the pole :)
I have a couple that I do like that - I want to eventually get all of them on that system. I do think it’s rather easier 💚 I have a project coming up where I am going to put my poles in one area of my home and I will do that than 🤍
Thanks for joining me as I get some moss pole tasks done 🪴💚

Ooo that is good to know 😂 It’s so annoying when they do that! Thanks Jenn 💚💜 I bet yours looks amazing 🥹

I’m so glad I could help you 💗 Thank you so much for watching Kelly 🥰🌱 I hope it goes well!
I was wondering how you were gonna fit that plant in with all that pon in the pot and pole 😂
Ahahaha long day at the office 🤣😅

It’s all I had on hand 😂 I will just be careful watering 💚 Thanks so much for watching Melanie 🌱
Totally unplanty related but you remind me soo much of my favorite singer Nikka Costa. I would bet money she is your long lost twin lol💚🌿
Awww haha thank you! Nikki Costa is gorgeous so that’s a compliment in my books 😍💜

Love to see your instructional videos! Do you think tree Fern dries out more slowly than moss does? Considering adding a pole for my plants.

@@PlantedinPlatinum vermiculite is a fantastic idea , I think I’ll try that too
Maybe I missed it but is there a reason why you don't use the cup or bottle method to water and or innoculate your poles?
