For everyone saying that they only kept Lacey for drama, yes and no. I listen to Lacey’s podcast “Talk of Love” (I’m actually not a big fan of Lacey but I have to admit, it’s a good listen!) and she recently interviewed Rock of Love Bus girls Ashley and Farrah, and Lacey discussed how in the first couple episodes of her own season, she truly was there for Bret and fought for his love and tried. But she found out quickly what reality shows were all about and that Bret wasn’t actually looking for love. That’s why she kinda stopped giving a shit and began more-so picking on girls, starting drama and fights and being a loose canon. She said when she realized that she wasn’t gonna actually “be with Bret” in the end, she played out the rest of the season for what it was, a “drama filled reality show.” Of course she cared about Bret, but she wasn’t in it really to “win” anymore. She wanted to stir shit up as much as she could for entertainment. Same with Ashley from S3. Lacey didn’t know at first that this show wasn’t real. Ashley knew straight from the gate that it wasn’t real and that’s why Ashley was so entertaining and bitchy to everyone else. She played the entertainment game correctly and was more-so trying to be a fan favorite on reality tv than to actually be with Bret. Ashley said she knew from the beginning Taya was gonna win.
