I just don't get why people keep on bashing him, this kid is good person. All of us has our own stand, we shouldn't drag someone down just because of what he believes. Let's be mature enough to realize that it is not a sin to fight and stand for what you believe. As long as it doesn't harm anyone,we should fight for it.

I have seen all these issues and posts about kay Kyler Chua, a contestant from the ABS-CBN survival show, Dream Maker. He is currently being accused of Homophobia, Misogyny, Bullying, and his Political Stance.
With this in mind, as someone who's known him for the last 7 years, let me be the first one to confidently say that he is NOT what most people are painting him to be. Start tayo sa homophobia. First off, Kyler has never abused any homosexual individuals or groups. If there have been any instances where he made fun of a homosexual person, I'll have you know that Kyler only makes fun of people for the sake of making people laugh, not for the sake of intentionally hurting others. He's not like that at all, and even if he does offend someone, he'll apologize later on.
As for the misogyny, hindi din totoo yan. Napakarespectful niyan sa mga babae. Yes, maybe there are times na may nairitang babae sa kaniya or there are times that he badly messed up in relationships, pero hindi yan nagmamaliit ng mga babae. As far as I know, the misogynistic accusations were generated because of him sharing anti-Leni content back then. Okay sige, sabihin na nating nagpost siya na anti-Leni. That doesn't necessarily mean he's automatically a misogynistic person. Nagkailang girlfriend na din yan, and again, siguro may times na nagmess up siya pero marespeto pa din yan sa mga babae.
Then there's the bullying. That's also full of BS. Kyler is an extremely kind person. Never akong tinake advantage niyan. Pag papakita ka ng kabaitan diyan tatry ka niyang irepay in some way later on. If he has bullied anyone, I am sure that he did it out of justice, not for pleasure. He's the type of person that will slap you if you slap him back, and he's definitely not the type of person that becomes happy with bullying people.
Finally, his political stance. Sige, given na yung pagiging apolo10 niya ah. Sabihin na natin yan na isang bad side niya. But that shouldn't be our basis on his attitude. Porke apolo10 na siya, icoconsider na natin siyang masamang tao?

I didn't know that being pro-bbm automatically meant that you're a demon. Because that's what's everyone's painting him to be rn. Kung demonyo nga siya then why is he so kind and humble sa 7 years na pagkakilala ko sa kaniya?? Why is he still so easy to hang around with?? Why is he so easy to talk to??
Also, let us not accuse him of things without proof. The only thing we are sure of is that he is pro-bbm. As for the other accusations, I haven't seen much proper proof. Puro accusations and baseless stuff lang.
Sa 7 years na pagiging tropa ko kay Kyler, I've witnessed the times when he was bullied, as well as yung mga times na hinihila siya pababa ng kung sinu-sino. Kaya ngayon, it breaks my heart that people are STILL trying to pull him down kung kelan nasa road to success na siya.
If you're a basher of Kyler Chua, make sure that you're accusing him with proof first. And don't accuse him of being a bad person if you don't even know who he is entirely. Porke pro-bbm masamang tao na kagad? Eh yung kaibigan mo ngang ni letgo mo nagdisconnect ka na nga sa kaniya kasi binackstab ka niya diba? Kasi akala mo matino siya, pero di naman talaga?
That is all I have to say. I would like to thank his mother for allowing me to speak out about him, as well as the few people who still believe in him. Please, share this post so people can understand that he is a kind person with a good heart. Let us keep supporting him on his road to being in a global pop group! ❤

Andami kasing napangitan sa unang performance nya tapos nalaman pang pro bbm sya kaya nakisakay iba sa trend. Dami kong nakikitang comments na gusto nila kay kyler sa una tapos sasabihan sila ng ibang kakampink na "apolo10 yan". Ginagawa ng bashers lahat ng way para hilain sya pababa just because of his political stance. Sana lang talaga hindi allowed mga contestants mag phone or magsocial media pag walang shoot para makapag focus sila sa training at ma protektahan nila mental health nila.
Galit talaga ako sa mga nagpo-post ng anti-Leni. Like anong masama ang ginawa ng tao to deserve that? Kung mabuting tao ang tingin mo kay Kyler, may mabuting tao ba ang manghahamak ng isa pang mabuting tao? Napakabuting tao ni Leni tapos gagaguhin lang ng iba, including Kyler? Kakampink ako, at galit ako sa political stand ni Kyler. Pero I believe sa potential ng bata kaya isinasantabi ko yung galit ko sa kanya kasi alam kong may mararating ang batang ito.
This is so sad.. it's so obvious kasi na nakiki hate nalang yung iba bigla dahil he supported that candidate.. i vote and root for Kyler since
i can see that he can improve and Lalo na this time maybe he will put more efforts so that he can show people that he deserve the spot.. I can see the resemblance of BTS Jin on him. 💜💜💜 Kyler may not be one of the great dancer, best vocal in the competition but he's greatest weapon is his VISUAL and also his hardwork. Despite of all the bashing he receives he still continues to improve everyday. We cannot deny the fact that he's looks really can be an asset to the whole group in the future. Lets make it happen 🥰🥰🥰

Honestly, don't get why they are so against the idea of Kyler and Onie debuting. They are not on the same level as the other dream chasers when it comes to talent, yes, but skills can be trained, can be improved. And after the final members are chosen, they won't immediately debut, they'll train.
Skills can be improved, visuals are permanent. And visuals are so important in kpop, especially when it comes to fans, and especially that they will debut in Korea with such strict preference on beauty standards.
Kyler and Onie aren't even my biases, but I can see their potential in the group. Sadly, talents alone can't make it in the idol industry especially if you're going global, because let's be honest visuals are needed. There are so many talented groups out there but struggle to be popular. The visual groups are the ones noticed. (Can't believe you read my long ass comment lol)

I'm an ex-ABS fan because I'm a pro Duterte. Kaya kahit anong shows di ko na pinapanood. But because of Kyler, kahit papaano nagkaroon ako ng reason to watch the show. He somehow resembles me Justin of Sb19, yung way ng pagsasayaw nya nung trainee days ni Justin. Yung visual at singing anjan na. Sa sayaw lang sya nagla-lack. Need lang nya e-developed dahil natutunan naman yun. At naniniwala ako dun.
P.S. First time kong nanood ng live kagabi, at nabasa ko yung mga hate comments ni Kyler. Pero di ko akalaing naapektuhan na pala sya sa bashing dahil di lahat ng mga sinabi nya dito ay inere sa live kagabi?! Napa-comment tuloy ako kasi di nya deserve ng hate dahil mukhang mabait naman sya.

You know your getting the hate because your riding on your visuals to get in the rankings, the show needs drama for you to be acknowledged, your one of the fan’s favorite because of your visuals. People expect you to be the underdog, thats why they gave you chances to stay. If the talent is not enough just ride your visuals till the end, know how to make use of it. Pakiligin mo ang taong bayan enough so that they’d be willing to overturn the rankings for you, come up with your own strategy to make use of what you have. Dont chase the impossible when you already have a treasure in your hands just be sly and make the whole show as your stage. If visuals cant take you to the winning stage of this show just use this show to start up you career in showbiz, your on a wave, surf on it. Talent doesn’t matter when earning money all you have to do is polish what you have and be smart on how to use it! Do you know what you have? You have fans that pulled you from the bottom of the unsafe zone to the mids of the safe zone, use them thoroughly. Use your expression more and speak calculated and scripted lines!
