Greg Loftus and the Ten Ninety-Nines perform the song "When My Day Comes" on The Extended Play Sessions. Greg Loftus has been writing songs since the second he picked up a guitar at 12 years old. During the fall of 2007, Greg started writing country-tinged acoustic tunes while living in Providence, RI. There, he was immersed and inspired by the DIY folk scene by watching local artists like Deer Tick and Brown Bird. This is also when he was exposed to the songwriting chops of traveling troubadours like Townes Van Zant, John Prine, and Steve Earle. Think of Deer Tick, The Bottlerockets, Drive By Truckers, Swinging Steaks, Steve Earle and The Dukes...this is hard driving, melodic, blue collar symphony for the common man. Roots rock and roll. PERIOD!
