    I could be wrong but I think that is a picture of Tchaikovsky, not Faberge. (They do look similar I'll admit).

    T'ha man in the photo Is not Faberge, it's Peter Ilič Čajkovski, the 19. century russian composer

    The best of Faberge are not these but the serie of wild flowers in a glass of water.They are the opposite of THE eggs

    So many have been not expertly repaired. They are so obvious to these photo graphics. What a pity,, more care and diligence was not addressed.

    It’s a shame ..more people don’t wear brooches now.

    The Faberge` works were always my inspiration. The tiny mechanics we something I strived for and created in my own work. But, Faberge` didn't do them. His genius was choosing the jewelers who did/could do them. wonderful things!

    Love his work--odd you didn't mention Tsars of Russia in the list of customers, and first brooch was not rhinestone but Moonstone. And alas some poor photo shop removed brooch elements as well as the original image background, but liked you tried to keep a neutral color to let the glorious pieces stand out!

    I have a lot of beautiful cloisonné, gemstone, pearl, opal, moonstone, turquoise, diamond, ruby, sapphire ,enamel jewelry. It’s timeless. A lot of these fabulous pieces have been mistaken as costume. I was in antiques for over 50 years.
