  • We all know we should never judge a book by it's cover Well, I say do not to judge at all.
By just listening to Radio Jambo's mid morning show presenter, Massawe Japanni you may just think or on this note judge her life is nothing short of a bed of roses just by listening to her beautiful voice, her laughter or even by quick glances at her photos online.
But not till you get to listen to the heartbreaking story behind that charming smile, that's when you learn Mrs. Japanni is a beautiful story which chose to not dwell on the pain she has gone through; as a woman and more so as a parent and to believe in God and focus on what the future has to offer and live as an inspiration to many out there.
Massawe Japanni opened up to RadioJambo.co.ke on her painful experience which dates back to 11 years ago when she lost Kwame, her first born baby.
According to Massawe, a very conservative being chose to take a step forward and open up about her dark past in a bid to inspire other women who have gone through the same traumatizing experience as her.
"Talking is theraphy" Said the award winning Bustani La MJ presenter owing to the fact that her show majorly focuses on women and issues involving around them.
She says her decision to share her story was motivated by one lady who called in during her show and shared how she has had a rough journey in her marriage, where she has experienced one too many miscarriages in her 8-year marriage.
"It was a very painful experience by the way 11 years ago I had just gotten married, our first born was a son whom we had already named Kwame and it came as a huge blow to us and I took time to come to terms that I had just lost my baby." Narrated Massawe a mother of three beautiful daughters.
It was a huge blow because I was fresh from the surgery room and after all the painful months I returned home empty handed and you know the excitement that comes with a family expecting their first child, the preparations from family members and after all you find yourself off the theater in the morning wishing it was all just a nightmare and the sounds of other children crying was simply unbearable." Added an emotional Massawe.
The mother off three also opened up on how together with her loving and caring husband worked together to overcome the terrible moment which involved crying together, stuck by each other through the entire emotional period, which vastly affected her career-wise as well.
    Her story is simply touching.
Catch the entire interview where she encourages you not to give up just because you or someone close to you have been through such terrible patches in your life. In Massawe's words "Hungemtakia hata adui yako apitie niliyoyapitia."
