Words cannot describe how awesome a ground up VR port for Cyberpunk would be (If they did it right.) They would probably have to overhaul a lot of the game but the result would be magical. Who knows, maybe the mods will eventually get us there, more or less.
Hopefully we get a mod tool like redkit and can use that to create a closer to native port
hopefully theyre atleast making the next one compatible will probably be after the next witcher game tho, and that one will surely be 3rd person...

I Still think the game was sold on many Lies as Promises that Patches couldn't fix, But I do like to put on a Playlist & Cursing around the World in VR. I will soon be making a Radio Station Mod filled with music that actually fits the game because most of it doesn't fit or is just not good. The Music Aspect of the game was a disappointment for me for sure.

@MartydudeVR It looks like since the game was not made for VR, this mod makes it run as both a pc and vr game at least internally. I first tried Half Life Alyx on a 4070 gaming laptop with psvr2 and also having it displayed on a Samsung Odyssey G8 4K monitor and it crashed after a few minutes. Of course I had no clue of what I was doing, so once I started using only my laptop, psvr2 and receiver the game never crashed. There’s no need for any game at this point to require a 4090, someone who also has a 4090 commented that the game looks better on pc than on VR, so I will wait for it to come out on VR, or just play some other VR games.
@nr3157 this will work on any 30 or 40 series card... I mentioned it in the video that I only had to heavy foot it because I recording...

what vr version inside steam? do you mean like theater mode? The two vr mods I know of are the luke ross mod and vorpx mod, and both give head tracking and stereoscopic 3d...but do come with some visual artifacts.

It is a cool experience. But, the quality of visuals inside of the headset isn't anywhere near as good as the monitor. I did enjoy feeling like I was inside of the game, but it isn't as pretty as I would like it to be. I also have a 4090, and I feel like this card isn't strong enough to run this game in the highest quality settings with a smooth experience. They just need to make these games officially with a VR mode like capcom has done with the Resident Evil series. It would be awesome if rock star made GTA6 with a VR mode.

if ur using meta wireless headset, or anything that dont have Display port support and dont have enough ppd (u need a minimum of 32 ppd to enjoy 2077 to feels like 2K monitor quality)

as for me i have bigscreen beyond just like marty, and 4080.
this game run smooth 75fps with no compression, all setting is high
and it looked 10 times better than in this video
@moncimoov I have tried this mod using my Quest Pro, Quest 3, and Pimax Crystal light, and it is very playable and looks okay. The game looks good in VR but, No where near as good as Monitor Quality. It is awesome being inside of the game. The Cutscene feel like they're made for VR, and I did enjoy my time in looking around while crusin in the back seat of the car. Felt like I was actually there in Night City. But, I stopped playing the game due to not being as pretty as I want it. I will give it another try once I upgrade my GPU to the next powerful card in hopes it will be much better. All Luke Ross mods don't look as good as I want them, too. I ❤️ that Red Dead Redemption 2 mod in VR. But, it isn't as beautiful as I would like it to be. But, it looks okay and is very playable. I want the game to look good like Resident Evil Remake and Village looks in PSVR2, which is how VR should look. But, I get it. These are mods. We need official versions to be in VR.

for me,
i think it looks almost as good as 2K monitors quality.. (acttually u can notice more details than monitors on some scenario)
or maybe the issue is not the GPU or the game, but lukeross mod creates ghosting ... and its very bad when u notice it
yeah, the mod is not perfect, but luke is still working on the optimization, just check his latest video..
im sure we can crank up even more res soon..when his new mod update is out
I've tried this mod and it works, yes, but I couldn't get it so it is playable and I have top of the line gear too. I'd really like to see a step by step video for VR beginners on settings etc on how to get the best out of it.
In VR the NPC looks blurry when they are far away... Do you see the same or i need to tweak the graphic settings

Agree. VR is the ultimate way to play games. I'm disappointed that CDPR didn't give us a VR mode with motion controls. This game universe is the perfect match for VR. It's a braindance.
