A fairly happy ending to a 7 year followed chapter
For a while I was frustrated that Ubbe wasn’t around where all the action was taking place, but by the end I was glad that he escaped the cycle of dying in some pointless fight over that stupid town. It’s funny that the guy who would have made the best King out of all of them had no interest in being one

I don't even know why but somehow Hvitserk ended up being almost my favorite out of the brothers. Alfred giving him his own real fathers name after he was baptised was such a nice closure to Ragnar and Athelstan's legacy

I loved the last season. You can’t say that about many shows. Even though a bit rushed, they wrapped everything up in such a beautiful way. An homage to the original members. An homage to what made us fall in love with Vikings.
Finally they made poor hvitserk.into a great warrior

He was really amazing i can watch 10 days when he is fighting but in the end they made him a christian and probably never fight again

I cried myself to sleep with Ivar’s death...Could have never imagined this happening in a million years...He was my fav character after Ragnar but he was essentially twisted and I did not expect to cry on him dying...But I did, it was heartbreaking

I didn't like Ivar. His death satisfied me after what happened to bjorn. Ivar had so many unnecessary fights against his brother for what? To kill his own family? Well if I look back, he didn't achieve that much.

I have no idea what im gonna watch next, nothing will ever come close to this show. I feel so empty knowing that we will never see another episode of Vikings again. Im actually really sad, like I lost a part of myself. R.I.P Ragnar, Lagertha, Ivar and Bjorn, the characters that kept this show alive for so long.
One possible simple answer to fill that ''emptiness'' , that '' void'' is to read, learn, research the ''real'' events '' of the Viking Era...the real Ivarr Ragnarsson or Floki, etc ....which could be as interesting as this '' fictional '' not true, Viking TV series ..

Every Character had a good Ending and they story was completed.

I went through so many different emotions while watching these final few episodes happiness, sadness, crying, shocked, excited and more crying, especially on Ivar the boneless death scene, it was epic I really enjoyed myself..this show means so much to me this is my favorite TV show ever I am emotionally attached to the show I have never ever cried this much for a movie or any other tv series, Bjorn Ironside had an epic ending just like his mother Queen Lagertha and my favourite character King Ragnar Lothbrok. I don't know what characters existed in real life, but they're all real in my world and in my heart the show really brought me into the world of the Vikings it felt like I was there witnessing things from season one to season six it have been a crazy ride I'm gonna miss this show farewell my friends..I'm gonna miss watching you all ❤⚡🗡🛶⛵
They were all real. Except Ragnar might have had another name. And a couple of his sons weren't put in the show.

Brandon Blue I agree. Towards the end he wished for death but wanted to go out like a true Viking warrior.
I am not sure but I think he was dying of sickness before, this whole thing about "when his eyes are very blue he's likely to get injured" was said so many times and even before he went into his final battle his whole eyes were blue, even the white.
In modern terms he probably had an organ deficiency or something like that, also he kept on breaking a lot of bones throught this season.
100% man....There was a reason he tried to call a peace treaty before the battle, he knew he needed time to rest and recover before fighting, in the end basically said fuck it fought anyway. No one will forget the name IVAR THE BONELESS! Hvitserk killed it with that line.
@@rm0986 they mentioned that when his eyes are very blue he is in danger of his bones breaking (due to an condition which is why he is an crippled) ,thats why he kept falling over and struggling to walk in the last episode
He didn't want to die. He just accepted his fate as the seer foretold. The battle was lost and his eyes were blue. There was nothing he could do at that point. He gave in, but I'm sure he didn't want to die, specially because his army wouldn't overcome the cristians and he was afraid of being forgotten. That means it was impossible for him to be the greatest viking ever, his strongest desire.
