- The Cut is a barbershop reasoning/conversation that is aired on CVM TV on Mondays at 8pm. Here is where we discuss the topics from a unique perspective. The Cut is hosted by Wayne Mitchell from the Meet The Mitchells RUclips channel.
I admire Wayne's ability to let his guests speak. This is truly an amazing conversation. I believe this show will win some sort of award. The BEST show on mainstream media this year. Congrats Wayne and CVM

I love love this episode..hats off to these 2 men ...bless them up
I always say “the mind is an horrible thing to lose” hence the reason why I always say I wish more people are able to go to therapy. It helps you to be your optimum self, plus learn life skills.
Great interview 👍
Real real show
Mad respect for Kareem for speaking out about his struggles with mental health! 👏🏾
Men, especially Jamaican men usually don’t speak about their struggles…
Dan Dan is so multifaceted!
I'm a daddy's girl, and i LOVE hearing the Daddys perspective. Being a Daddy means setting the standard. EVERY man in your daughter's life will forever be measured on a scale of 1 to Daddy. If you understand that, you immediately see the impact a Daddy makes.
Excelsior is the only school in Jamaica that takes you from kindergarten to life: Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary and College.
Facts!!!!
Facts !! My 2 boys will be going to the Primary school ...
Knox too
Knox complexs of Schools. Basic, primary, high and community college
Knox Junior , Knox College High School, Knox Community College
Ppl just need to get with the facts. Not everyone wants kids. People have different goals. It doesn't mean you are selfish either.
Wayne, this is your lane. You cruise effortlessly.
Soar mi fren!
I watch MTM religiously as a silent cousin and I’ve been hearing Wayne talk about it but I never tuned it till today. I LOVE THIS! It’s so refreshing to hear men having these types of conversations. So enlightening! I love everything about this lol congratulations Wayne this is amazing 🎉. Now I’m going to catch up on the episodes I’ve missed!
Cssd😊😊😊😊😊
Wayne, The Cut a fire enuh. Best thing on CVM. Congrats man🎉 make hay while the sun shine. You winning. Just like MTM me watch every episode as them drop from day one. Nice just like hot bread.
I absolutely love this episode! Dan Dan, Kareem and Wayne together just shows how far the male perspective has grown because there was a time when male fathers taking care and showing unconditional love to their daughters and even other male friends was not common!
AWESOME work Wayne!!
Yes. Really loved this show. The transparency and just being in on the real Talk. Thank You! Wishing great success to each of You.
Kareem said he doesn’t want a wife, his own family/kids & doesn’t see that changing but then said it’s because he is selfish & focused on achieving goals & he wants to be able to provide a life free of lack. Does there not come a point when goals are reached? When all of your ambitions are attained and you’ve become equipped & able to give your all? To each their own of course but that seemed slightly confusing. Having ambition is perfectly fine but Living your life strictly chasing things seems like it only leads to a lonely and forgettable ending. Wanting to live forever only committed to attaining a desired status and things seems miserably imbalanced. Life is about balance, you can do and be more than one thing. Good episode though.
That’s what life is for men. Most men don’t want wives or family or kids they just wanna live free and do whatever they want. But they’re then forced to attain a wife family and kids if there are real men around you they’ll approve of what I’m saying.
Great topic. Fantastic discussion I believe too many men are hiding their mental fatigue....Some has no idea what is going on but they are going through it...Too many Jamaicans take mental illness as a joke....Not because they know it's as serious as it is....Mental illness is a worldwide problem.
You’re speaking facts 💯
I loved this! Very necessary space to change the trajectory of masculine dysfunction in our society.❤️
The fake haircutting is so unnecessary guyd
You know me always a wonder if they really cutting the hair 😂😂😂😂… it’s the cut cutting but not cutting
Yuh neva hear di clipper or si di dander 😁
Danar is the idiot genius !!! .. him nah fool mu though !! He’s so brilliant!!!
Mi nah lie mi love dis episode😂😂😂 it was a joy guys... nuff blessings in Jesus' ❤🙏🏽🙏🏽name
This is my first time watching The Cut, I really enjoyed the conversation. I follow Dan Dan and Kareem so it was good to hear their stories. I would like to see more of Dan Dan serious side, he did get there and I enjoyed it. Dan Dan full of potential, continue to build in your interviewing skills, separating the comedy with time and experience. Always love to hear Kareem, I can see he is extremely hard on himself. A family will make you better Kareem, do not fear when the time is right. Wayne as usual, growing, and expanding in different spaces. Great job men!
My first time too only because I see Dan dan and Kareem
Rememberation, am deading at this moment. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I will listen Kareem at every chance I get . This episode had my 2 favorite gentlemen ♥️♥️♥️♥️
What a lovely conversation 💕 💖 😍 Enjoyed it immensely ❤
Thank you!
First off, major props to Wayne and production for bringing together Dan Dan and Kareem, guys who aren't afraid to dive deep into their thoughts and feelings. It's refreshing to see men openly discussing issues that resonate with both genders.
My only critique is that there's SO much rich content jam-packed into this episode that I found myself craving more. Each guest brought something unique to the table, and it felt like we only scratched the surface of their stories.
I genuinely believe that each guest deserves their own dedicated hour to fully explore their experiences and perspectives. Looking forward to the next episode! 😃
The interaction with all three works very well...in my humble opinion...
Very interesting point. Maybe the show should be broken in segments, where you do one on one with each guest, then a closing segment of bringing both guest together. Just a thought. Very good show.
Wayne, another great conversation. I appreciate this space you have created.
All I can say is that I really enjooooooyed this Cut. The guest personalities were fun to watch, they were articulate and so straight up open. Wayne I love MTM, but I prefer the Wayne in The Cut. You gentlemen, all products of our high schools, are proof that our school system and traditional families produced fine men.
This is a solid show !! The concept is needed in the space . Big up Fada Wayne 🙏🏽💯
how him sound and look fruity so . wah da?
Great show guys. Both Dan Dan and Kareem are super guys. Thanks for always being authentic Kareem, and for sharing such deep and sensitive issues. Love you 3. ❤❤❤ Keep up the good works Wayne.
Kareem wi cant forget wen yuh run off and drop like breadfruit🤣
Love this discussion. The topic of mental health, especially coming from a male is very beneficial to so many. Jamaican men are thought to hide their feelings and mental ill health is a taboo . Wayne continue the great work much love. MTM first cousin/aunty❤
The first person to validate a girl should be her father.
Love this episode. Big up unu self gentlemen.
Another great conversation. Gentlemen, informative, engaging and entertaining. Wayne! Wayne! Great space.
I'm am MTM cousin and i can't begin to tell you how much i love The Cut. This episode had my cracking 😅.

This was such an easy flowing, humorous and necessary conversation. Good job, guys!

Totally enjoyed this episode . Dan Dan and Kareem brought great conversations . This is really a good look . It’s time to invite a female to the barber shop
I concur, women do get haircuts too. The thought came to mind a few episodes ago.😁
Loved this convo! Very real and fun!
The man should've shadow di break when running up the hill. 😂😂😂
First time shower. However, I don't like how the guys kept talking over each other.
How this finish so fast? Me neva ready fi cut. I was enjoying myself. No man. Another good conversation. ❤
Come on Wayne, PLEASE stop the FOOLINISH with the fake barber cuts. I am sure the barber is a really nice guy but the fake haircutting is such a distraction and I can tell how uncomfortable the guest are.
Lol
I always say that to my son, don’t say negative things to others because you will tell someone 99 positive things and one negative thing will live rent free in the receiver head 😢
This needs a part 2❤
Best show to date..... loved the vibe, guests just real... open. Love it... ❤❤❤
Agreed!! 100
Dan Dan hit the nail on the head about Father’s being present in the children’s lives. My father didn’t live with us and to be frank he wasn’t there a lot but when he was he made it count. I feel like the most important person in the world when I’m around my dad. I can’t explain the feeling.
Fathers please be there for your children.
Dan Dan say “fully higgla.” Dwl. “But yuh know yuh good wid yuh mouth!”
Massa Gad! 😂
It’s my first time watching this blog and I love it Wayne 😊

Another great episode! The topics you all touched were so interesting and funny as well.
Enjoyed watching this interview 👌 🙌 👍
Kareem straight or Lean???
I think this would be more successful if you interviewed one for each program like Kareem didn't finish his pandemic story, you switched to the other person, i think it's too rushed, my constructive imput i hope, .. MTM I AM ONE OF YOU ! Don't come for me please!

Memba Wayne,...haters gonna hate.❤😊
Yuh likkle relation-raft-boat-canoe 🤭🤭
I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. What stood out to me was Kareem’s struggle with depression and anxiety. Most important when he said he went to therapy and was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. A lot of the times some ppl self diagnose without fully starting the proper process of getting the help that they need. Whether it be meds, therapy, getting exercises and situational coping mechanisms. I loved how each person basically emphasized that it’s ok for men to really talk about their feelings etc etc. wonderful show. Bless
I was looking forward to this. I enjoyed the selflessness in each each topic. Keep teaching and sharing. A note to the unwise and ignorant. The Lord is your help. Keep it up #thecut
